Primary responsibilities include cleaning duties in assigned areas following the standards set by the College. Typical duties include dust mopping, sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, polishing furniture, cleaning high places requiring the use of ladders and extension poles, using motor-driven equipment to strip, scrub, and polish floors, vacuuming and shampooing the carpet. Additional responsibilities include removing snow from building entrances, assisting in moving heavy items, and setting up conference rooms.

CELFE began its work focused primarily on Illinois' ECEC system, in which our Director, Theresa Hawley, Ph.D. has spent almost 30 years in as a researcher, advocate, and government systems change leader - working to improve ECEC polices with children and families at the center. Now, CELFE is building on that experience and the passion for systems-change held by the diverse and skilled team of five (and growing) to focus more deeply on the funding adequacy and equity of the ECEC system. The scope and reach of CELFE is expanding to include all states and municipalities interested in transformation. CELFE is currently engaged in projects with Massachusetts and Colorado and Illinois. Knox College invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.
This is a 12-month, benefits-eligible position reporting to the Associate Director of Athletics. Anticipated start date is July 2025. The successful candidate will have a focus on supporting student-athlete success and wellbeing in a competitive NCAA Division III program.

Knox athletes are student-athletes with a focus on achievement in the classroom, on the

dollars raised the past three years.
Responsibilities
Assist the Athletic Training department in providing sports medicine services and coverage for 14 varsity sports. This is a 100% Athletic Training role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing practice and event coverage including evenings and weekends, supervision of athletic training facilities and student first aiders. Assistant Athletic Trainer provides care, prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and documentation of injuries for assigned sport responsibilities. Communication with sports medicine, coaching, and athletic administration staff is expected. Sport assignments and other duties to be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer.
Additional duties will be determined, in part, by the experiences and strengths of the
successful candidate and may include assisting with game operations and/or teaching a
sports studies course.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree.
NATA BOC Certification. Illinois License Eligible.
Current First Aid, CPR, AED certification.
Ability to work weekends and evenings and flexible hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to prioritize weekly and daily schedules over the entire trimester.
Experience with social media and overall promotion of Sports Medicine program.

* Guides caregivers, youth in care, education personnel, child welfare professionals in Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Purchase of Service (POS) agencies, POS education liaisons, court personnel, community agencies in their roles in the intervention and resolution of educational issues.
* Resolves issues that affect the education of individual youth involved within the Illinois foster care system.
* Provides consultation on handling educational issues.
* Provides direction, support and resources in assessing and dealing with the youths' educational needs to youth, caregivers and professionals including: child welfare caseworkers and administrators, school and district personnel (teachers, administrators, social workers, etc.), Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Guardian ad Litem (GAL), POS education liaisons, attorneys, community providers, etc.
Educational Planning for Youth
* Engages in planning to ensure appropriate educational services for youth.
* Develops intervention plans to address behaviors that mitigate school engagement and educational achievement.

Training & Professional Development/Building Capacity

* Builds capacity within child welfare through coaching and training caregivers and youth in care.
* Builds capacity among DCFS and POS staff and administrators, POS educational liaisons, GALs, CASA and other court personnel through training and resources.

The Department of Chemistry and Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for adjunct (per-course) faculty members for laboratory and lecture sections of General and Organic Chemistry. Adjunct instructors are required to deliver course content consistent with learning outcomes, contribute to the creation of assignments and other assessments, evaluate and grade student work, and be available for office hours to support student success.
These appointments are on a course-by-course basis. This posting is continuous to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. Faculty Associate (adjunct) positions are hired on one semester, renewable contracts with loads that do not exceed 8 credit hours; one course per semester is the norm. Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in chemistry or an associated field is preferred; candidates possessing a master's degree and college-level teaching experience may also be considered. Teaching excellence is paramount.
