Your Job The Flint Hills Resources Project Capability Group in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an experienced ProjectManager to join our team. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects ranging from $2M to $50M. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle-from objective alignment and option selection through scoping, planning, sanctioning, design development, execution, commissioning, and start-up. This role is central to driving improvements that meet specific business objectives and create lasting value.

Our team includes 15 ProjectManagers who report to the ProjectManagement Leaders.

What You Will Do
* Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, safety, and competitive performance.
* Build and guide project teams, collaborating with engineering, operations, construction, and vendors.
* Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope selection, safety, environmental compliance, construction, operations, and reliability.
* Manageproject costs and schedules to achieve best-in-industry performance.
* Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Apply critical thinking and economic analysis to solve problems, mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks.
* Identify opportunities for value creation and process innovation within projectmanagement workstreams.
* Support occasional turnarounds, which may require weekend and evening hours.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree
* 10+ years of experience in projectmanagement
* Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage multiple initiatives, priorities, or projects.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience leading projects or working in a refinery or chemical plant environment.
* ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) certification.
* Texas (or reciprocal) Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, wall types, finish schedules, and specifications specific to drywall and ceilings.
Knowledge of drywall assemblies, framing systems, insulation, fireproofing, soundproofing, and finish standards.
Proficiency in estimating software and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Timberline or similar).

ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a ProjectManager with 6-10 years of experience who brings deep technical understanding, strong team leadership, and the ability to guide complex projects from early design through construction. General Contractor or Architect experience is preferred.
With oversight and training from a Project Executive or President, the ProjectManager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of challenging construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and managing resources to ensure successful project completion and satisfied clients. The projects include multifamily (including modular), sports arenas, historic, public-private partnerships, utility infrastructure, hospitality, industrial and more.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA with offices located in Pasadena and Culver City. Projects are located throughout Los Angeles County.
