Ensure designs are efficient to manufacture while meeting our high-performance market requirements * Interface with cross functional team members in signal integrity, manufacturing integration, product management, sales, state of the art test laboratories, on-premise model shop, and leadership teams * Facilitate knowledge sharing within and between cross functional teams via digital tools and interpersonal relationships * Create relationships with senior leadership, cross functional team members and peers through team building activities and growth opportunities operating as One Molex Team * Engage with external customers to develop next generation solutions that meets their needs * Provide advanced application and technical support to strategic customers Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 10+ years experience in electro-mechanical product design and development with proven technical leadership * Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems (NX, Creo, Solidworks, CATIA, etc.) * Expert in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and concepts within industry * Experience defining, executing, and interpreting design validation plans & reports (DVP&R) * Familiarity with defining and interpreting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) * Demonstrated utilization of statistical Tolerance Analyses * Design experience with high-volume products manufactured using a subset of the following processes: progressive die stamping, injection molding, die casting, insert molding, automated assembly * Proven track record of developing innovative solutions * Desire to learn, be challenged and interact in a cross functional team environment * A demonstrated ability to learn quickly and make logical, data-based decisions when presented with novel tasks and requirements What Will Put You Ahead * Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering field * 15+ years experience in electro-mechanical product design and development with proven technical leadership * Design experience with high speed (112Gb/s+), high density connectors, cable assemblies, and interconnect products * Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter * Familiarity with correlating simulated results to measured test results * Knowledge of regulatory agency testing requirements (UL, CSA, EIA, etc.) * Good understanding and practical knowledge of Six Sigma quality development tools and principles (DOE, FMEA, etc.) * Experience with design & analysis of compliant mechanisms * Understanding and application of sound project management techniques managing projects to timelines, due dates and deadlines * History of working within an international organization and/or working with international suppliers & team members * Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Minitab For this role, we anticipate paying $125,000 - $170,000 per year. About the Permian Straddling West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico, the Permian is the most prolific oil and gas basin in America and the engine behind the country's energy renaissance. What role you will play in our team As a senior facility engineer your job will be to provide technical support to fellow engineers on the team and to operations for surface facilities within Permian Basin. Facilities Engineer will be assigned to a field area in the Permian Basin. You will leverage your expertise in engineering and project management to provide operations support, project execution and surveillance for surface facilities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and business objectives. This position is 14/14 schedule. **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Will be responsible for regularly scheduled large scale preventative maintenance and corrective repair maintenance activities on large COOP compression fleet and additional rotating equipment including VRU's, Air Compressors and a variety of pumps. + Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies. + Follow safe operating practices as described in the MCBU Control of Work Standards and maintain a safe working environment. + Responsible for work order management through SAP and mobile applications, pre-work scoping activities, rotating equipment troubleshooting, and other equipment reliability efforts. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Valid Driver's License. + Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays on assigned work schedule and overtime as workload demands. + Must be able to read and interpret manuals and other technical materials. + 5+ years of oil & gas compression/mechanical related experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Associates of Applied Science degree or higher or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in Compression, Industrial Maintenance Technology or related mechanical technology discipline. + 5 years current industrial mechanical experience, with emphasis on reciprocating engines, compressors, centrifugal compressors, turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, and generators. + Demonstrated commitment to Chevron Way Values. + Strong verbal and written communication. + Able to work with limited supervision. + Familiarity with reliability efforts for a variety of safety, environmental and production related issues. + Ability to perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of major oil and gas production and facility process systems. + Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), SAP S/4HANA , and an aptitude for learning new software applications. + Ability to perform multiple tasks with limited supervision. + Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a diverse team. + Caterpillar Engine certificate and/or training. + Ariel Compressor certificate and/or training. **IMPORTANT NOTE:** As part of the application process, you will be required to take an assessment that measures aptitude and work styles. As part of an integrated facility including Refinery and Chemical plants, Machinery Engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of rotating equipment, including extruders, hyper-compressors, turbo-expanders, steam turbines and cogen facilities. In addition, they are part of a larger engineering organization so get to collaborate with other machinery and non-machinery engineers. **What you will do** + Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, operations and mechanical personnel + Proactively seek improvements directed at increasing plant reliability + Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices + Ensure safe, cost effective, operable rotating equipment and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current business unit needs + Have leadership capabilities with strong organizational, communication, and team working skills, through a combination of formal training and/or experiences + Provide quality control and design reviews of new projects that involve rotating equipment + Periodically review rotating equipment thermodynamic and mechanical performance + Have experience with machinery monitoring and troubleshooting including bearings, seals and auxiliary support systems and vibration analysis + Lead RCFA development + Provide assistance in the field during plant startups, shutdowns or upsets + Deliver guidance to the business units on prioritization of machinery related work + Have a demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority + Be able to provide off-hours support of abnormal and non-routine operation **About you** **Skills and Qualifications** + B.S. Mechanical Engineering + 10+ years of experience in rotating support equipment roles in a petrochemical manufacturing facility + Knowledge of industry standards for purchasing equipment and repair standards **Preferred Qualifications/ Experience** + Engagement in Turnaround related activities, including planning and execution + Familiarity with compressors and steam turbines, including their control and protective systems + Experience with machinery involved in the manufacturer of Low- and High-Density Polyethylene **Your benefits** **An ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
