The associate discount

Management is a mess. No direction given to new employees. I worked for a total of six weeks, then decided to quit.

The associate discount. I do not need any benefits. I am covered fully under my own plan.

Leadership team is horrible. I would never suggest anyone work for this company.

Too much to mention. First and foremost, hire HR professionals (who have had college courses and degrees in HR and management).

There was no need to prepare. Kohls called me and offered me a job immediately.

They are really inclusive everybody seems very happy and friendly and gets along well they do a lot of things for their employees and they work with you on your schedule I screwed up by not keeping that job

I didn't like the fact that everything was so automated anything that you needed if you needed help it they sent you to a computer or a website and you had 10 different websites to check everything and it was just it was a lot some days you just wanted to speak to your manager or a person who could explain something to you

Definitely the employee discount that was freaking awesome especially on their employee appreciation days it's great

I really liked the management. They always had my back when dealing with difficult customers, and training with them reduced anxiety. If I got something wrong, a lot of people would get upset, but they gently guided me in the right direction with an "It's okay that you're still learning" mindset. I also loved the diverse environment. Kohl's is a place of total inclusion.

It is really difficult to climb the ladder at Kohl's. I asked several times to be trained in different areas so that I might be considered for a promotion in the future, and I was never given the hours. I loved working there, but there was only enough room for one or two people to really succeed at a time.

Don't adhere to schedule, and some employees are not the kindest

The holiday pay

For how easy the majority of jobs/roles for warehouse floor workers are, the compensation is fair.

Management is clueless and only hires from outside or promotes boot lickers for supervisor and other mgmt positions - upward mobility is almost impossible.

Your manager’s/bosses treat you so kind and understanding. The co workers are so nice and helpful.

The only thing that I don’t like is…lack of hours!

Many jobs were lost last week based on financial, not based on talent. Less people friendly the last few years outside of my area.

Kohl's discount was tough to beat.

Coworkers are very friendly, and my supervisors are very supportive and understanding.

The work can become monotonous and dealing with customers can be a headache at times. Also, the pay isn't very good.

Some customers could be rude and would try to argue with the workers about prices or items they were purchasing.
