What You'll Do:
*Media/Ad Sales research experience is a must*
In this Ad Sales Research Analyst role, you'll turn data into compelling stories that shape why advertisers should be spending in the creator economy space. You'll leverage a mix of first and third-party data to deliver quantitative and qualitative insights that support the Ad Sales team in prospecting and developing agency and brand relationships. You'll also partner closely with Ad Sales Marketing and Sales leadership to refine Spotter's strategic positioning, external messaging, and sales materials, driving revenue growth and strengthening Spotter's presence across the advertising and media investment landscape. By bringing cutting-edge research and data analysis techniques to the forefront of the ad sales business, you'll help answer the question: “Why Spotter?”
Responsibilities include:
Help build a scalable insights support practice that generates critical insights for the ad sales prospecting / RFP process utilizing first and third party data sources
Using data and insights, develop sales narratives showcasing the holistic Spotter value proposition as well as tactical success at a campaign level
Collaborate with the sales org to help define KPIs to be measured for campaigns.
Operationalize and lead first and third party measurement programs to showcase the value of Spotter network media across the entirety of the marketing funnel (awareness/reach to sales/conversions)
Fulfill ad-hoc sales research requests leveraging a variety of data, including audience metrics, consumer insights, competitive advertising intelligence, targeting and overall marketplace trends
Partner with internal analytics organization to build tools and automate process needed to support pre and post sale requests
Support the evangelization of success of the Spotter network via trades, industry conferences etc.
Who You Are:
Education & Experience/Certifications:
2-4 years of related media/ad sales research experience
Experience at media agency or large data driven media supplier
Experience with media research and software programs (e.g., Nielsen suite of media measurement tools, com Score, Tubular Labs)
Expert in developing and interpreting results from primary quantitative research initiatives (e.g., brand lift, attitude and usage)
Strong presentation skills to translate data into actionable and easily communicated insights
Relevant bachelor's degree in a quantitative field - or graduate degree within a science, mathematics, operations, business, digital marketing, or research field - a plus
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite. Expertise is programming and stats preferred but not required (E.g. Python or R)
Experience using and building data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City, California. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $75K-$85K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter's total compensation package for employees.
