Treating patients that know owners better than actual, loyal patients.
Never knowing the performance of the company; leadership hides numbers and non of it is reinvested into the company. Don't have to make any decisions since owners make all decisions even if you are delegated to oversee projects. Leadership can make employees uncomfortable.
Upcoming owners lack passion or desire to run current business. No solid plan for future. Current owner likes to put employees down, believes he is the most knowledgeable, and competitive nature keeps employees distrustful of each other. Poor compensation.
Leader communicates via phone or in person, to make it difficult to maintain accountability. The actual leader is not the CEO of the company. Nepotism

Don't need to prep for interview. You are asked yes or no questions, and have to listen to leader ramble on about the past and glory days that no longer are relevant.

Being treated poorly by leadership
Employees are not treated equal. Assisting loyal customers in taking their prescriptions elsewhere to improve profits. Trying to upsell customers on cheap, overpriced equipment they don’t need.
Toxic workplace, low compensation, nepotism, favoritism, high liability risk (make sure owners communication is in writing). Many of the decisions the owners make are reactive and irrational. No access to bare minimum resources.
Going the extra mile for the company just to be ignored for sacrifices made. You will not feel appreciated. Managers will not stick up for you.
Hopefully CEO is getting ready to retire. He talks poorly about the capability of his children that are taking over business, but they lack any passion or knowledge of the business.
Employees do not trust each other. Preventing family from being able to communicate to employees may cure the oppressive culture. Did hierarchy so that CEO actually is involved in operations, the kids aren’t the owners on paper, and the true owner is clearly identified.
Smile and nod to all the embellishes stories and bad ideas the owner mentions.
Substandard wage, nonexistent raises, and bad benefits. Company doesn’t even use profit to maintain the facilities.
Very diverse employees that all share the common skill of never questioning the owner’s demands and sacrificing their family for the company.
