Working conditions
Must be able to work in a moderately loud and fast-moving environment. Jimmy John’s stores play music at a moderate level all day. Must be able to avoid distraction and apply safety best practices while using a slicer, knives and oven.
Physical requirements
Must be able to stand for the length of shift. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Must be able to climb the ladder, if needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Perform routine food preparation tasks, clean up, set up and other duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform routine food preparation tasks, such as cutting up fruits and vegetables, making and wrapping sandwiches and salads.
Set up and stock work areas with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
Assist with daily cleaning duties in the cafeteria including cleaning equipment and work areas, mopping, operating dishwasher and/or scrubbing pots and pans.
Cleaning up lines at the end of the meal shift, and putting away/disposing of leftovers.
Organize food service and dining areas.
Serve students and staff in a cheerful and helpful manner.
Accurately identify a reimbursable meal on the serving line; provide monitoring and guidance to customers to be sure selections meet federal guidelines.
Safely operate standard and specialized kitchen equipment, including convection/combi ovens, microwave ovens, dishwashers, food warmers, coolers and freezers.
Set up a serving line with appropriate serving equipment according to Maricopa County Health Department guidelines.
Clean work areas and dispose of garbage daily.
Assist manager in verifying and monitoring HACCP procedures including temperature, sanitizer and storage logs.
Respond to all internal and external customers, as it relates to the position, in a prompt, efficient, friendly and patient manner.
Maintain courteous relationships with students, staff, parents, and community, treating all with respect.
Perform all related duties as required.
Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Travel between campuses is required from time to time.
This position requires the need to lift objects up to 25 pounds. Team lifting and use of PPE is required for any objects over 25 pounds. May be required to team lift up to 50 pounds.
This position may require sitting for long periods at times, talking on the phone, standing, kneeling, stooping and long periods of concentration.
Local and in-state travel required.

Integrated Medical Services, Inc. is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Medical Assistant for our Cardiology clinic in Avondale. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support by assisting patients and their family members before, during and after their visit. Medical Assistants work alongside doctors, nurses and other clinical personnel, performing functions that help the clinic run smoothly.
** This a a part-time position 2 full 8 hr. days, every other week.**
Responsibilities:
Room patients
Take vitals/review patient history
Prepare and clean room for patient and get patient prepared for the physician encounter.
Performs a variety of office-based testing and treatments related to patient care under the supervision of clinician care.
Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital and other ancillary medical treatments and tests.
Resolve patient concerns promptly.
Requirements:
At least 1 - 3 years' experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
Bilingual preferred
Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
Good computer skills and being familiar with Microsoft (Word and Excel)
EMR (Athena) experience a plus
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school, or passage of the Medical Assistant examination. - Required
CPR certified
