We are currently in search of an experienced Patient Access Specialist for our Frederick, MD location. The Patient Access Specialist at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is responsible for managing the flow of patients and visitors in and out of the front door as well as front waiting area. This includes implementing administrative systems, following procedures and policies, monitoring administrative projects, and working collaboratively with care providers to facilitate program and budgetary goals. The employee, under the supervision of the Lead Nurse Practitioner will perform lab testing on specimens as directed in a CLIA waived laboratory. Position consists of a mixture of Patient Access and Laboratory Technician responsibilities based on clinic need, at the discretion of clinic Center Director and other company leadership.
Responsibilities
Full Time Position
1st Shift 5:30am - 1:30pm/ 8 hours daily (Mon-Fri with possible occasional evening/weekend when needed)
Patient Access Specialist Responsibilities:
Manages scheduled appointments by checking in patients and alerting staff to patient presence. Directs walk-in patients to appropriate staff. Collects relevant patient information and maintains HIPAA compliance
Manages all incoming telephone calls and represents the agency as a first point of contact with a pleasant and professional demeanor. Routes calls, messages, and deliveries to appropriate staff in a timely fashion
Follows systems and procedures by adhering to operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms control, and budgetary requirements
Manages co-pay and self-pay amounts for patient visits, including documenting amounts received, and alerting patients to outstanding balances
Receives clinical alerts and ensures adherence to patient restrictions, including toxicology screens and appointments with clinical staff
Assists with management of patient documentation, including managing the availability of charts between care providers on the day of intake and ensuring UA and BAC records are retained and available for care providers
Manages the waiting area milieu by observing safety and well-being of patients and visitors. Alerts security and clinical staff to situations requiring intervention
Maintain cleanliness and order of front desk and waiting room areas
Qualifications
Three plus years' experience in a medical office setting, hospital, or similar patient customer service environment. Five plus years, preferred.
Requires a working knowledge of medical insurance plans, billing, regulations.
Must have a strong knowledge of and advanced experience with Microsoft Office products with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.
Excellent verbal and written communication, professional telephone manners, interviewing and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, members of the health care team and external agencies.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

We are currently in search of an experienced IOP Addiction Counselor for our Arlington, VA location. The Addiction Counselor position at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all of its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is held by someone who is innovative and committed to learning and developing their counseling skills, while working and collaborating with an innovative, inter-disciplinary team. This position requires someone who is invested in patient care and brings a solution-focused attitude and outlook. A candidate for this position will provide clinical supervision for clinicians with beginning counseling credentials.
Responsibilities
Hours are Monday through Friday 12:30pm to 8:30pm - can work fully remote
Develops a treatment alliance with patients that is mutual, collaborative, and individualized, meeting changing clinical needs throughout treatment
Facilitates addiction treatment groups in the IOP levels of care
Prepares and presents addiction/recovery education presentations to all patients
Engages in case management sessions, including assessments, collaborative treatment goals, discharge planning, partnership with referral sources and/or other providers
Promotes the organizations image in a positive and professional manner
Is expected to provide direct care up to 55% of weekly work hours depending on program and position
Works with treatment team to meet the co-occurring psychiatric needs of patients
Coordinates care for all appropriate support services, including referral sources, family members, and other support providers
Responsible for maintaining timely and well written documentation that meets state and CARF standards
Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning IOP , treatment goal attainment, etc
Responsible for obtaining signatures from licensed therapist/supervisor for documents requiring a second signature when applicable
Provide evaluations for substance use disorders using DSM-V and ASAM level of care criteria
Carries the on call phone for one week, several times through the year - supporting the needs of any patients in crisis outside of our business hours when applicable
Has experience with Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma informed care approaches
Embodies the spirit of a teacher, continually demonstrating positive energy that promotes addiction recovery education and learning, both in and out of group/individual sessions

Qualifications
Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred

Summary
As a Shift Supervisor, you supervise Suicide Prevention Center crisis counselors during their shift and ensure compliance with program standards, contracts, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Primary Duties
* Manages and supports call flow on the Crisis Line.
* Ensures the crisis counselors and volunteers follow program standards, contracts, policies, procedures and guidelines.

As a Workforce Management Specialist I, you will perform essential functions of real-time management, capacity planning, and schedule administration as part of the Workforce Management Program. Primary Duties

Administer and monitor the attendance line, ensuring timely notifications to leadership regarding tardiness or absences; analyze the impact of absences and make real-time staffing decisions (ex: shifting of clinical supervisors into front line crisis counselor role) to mitigate absentee impacts.
Generate and distribute real-time performance reports to leadership, highlighting areas of concern and recommending immediate corrective actions.

We are currently in search of an experienced Clinical Manager for our Baltimore, MD location. Responsibilities
In partnership with the Executive Director, is responsible for all staffing processes, including interviewing, training, staffing for all sessions/groups, performance management/annual evaluations as well as review of and approval of timecards
In partnership with the Executive Director, addresses performance issues including disciplinary action (verbal and written) as needed
In partnership with the Executive Director is responsible for executing established clinical outcome Key Performance Indicators including patient retention, successful program completion rates, direct client care, clinical outcomes, program census and attendance, and Average Length of Stay
In partnership with the Executive Director is responsible for ensuring staff Key Performance Indicators including counselor direct care hours are being met
Sets a standard of clinical and professional excellence providing clear expectations and accountability for all clinical staff, including ensuring that all staff adhere to guiding principles
Along with the Executive Director is responsible for overall patient satisfaction. Responds to patient concerns and resolves clinical, program, and customer service issues with solutions that are in line with established ethical guidelines and best practices

Safeguards model fidelity ensuring that an evidence-based, harm reduction and recovery oriented approach to patient care is promoted and practiced
Is skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Trauma Informed Treatment Approaches, and assists in training clinical staff in these approaches
Provides supervision with a focus on performance management as well as clinical certification or licensure

Ensures completion of clinical documentation including Treatment Plans, BAMs, group, individual, discharge summaries, and all other required documentation

Reviews all admission, discharge and other census data weekly for their program / area of responsibility
Coordinates with clinical leadership / Human Resources the on-boarding and termination status of all employees consistent with organization standards
Responsible for carrying a reduced caseload. Temporary full caseload may be required based on program needs
Will be responsible for group coverage as needed
Provides support and direct intervention to staff members during client crises
Partners with the compliance team to maintain compliance with CARF standards and state regulations.
Adheres to company operating policies and procedures
Collaborates with the medical director and other clinical/medical leadership to improve and develop clinical programming, ensuring Kolmac/CCG is implementing evidenced-based practices

Qualifications
Must meet all state and regulatory requirements to provide Clinical Supervision to Substance Use Disorder clinical staff in the state you are employed
Experience providing group and individual counseling to individuals with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory/leadership position within the human services field
Familiar with state / federal regulations, CARF standards, and DEA regulations - when necessary
Must have a minimum of 3 years working within the field of substance use disorder treatment
Must become competent in Medication Assisted Treatment best practices
Must be willing to work the hours that are based on specific location
Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent documentation and computer skills , including the use of electronic medical records.

The Patient Access Specialist at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is responsible for managing the flow of patients and visitors in and out of the front door as well as front waiting area. This includes implementing administrative systems, following procedures and policies, monitoring administrative projects, and working collaboratively with care providers to facilitate program and budgetary goals.
This is an onsite position with a schedule of Monday - Friday 11 am to 7 pm.
Responsibilities
Manages scheduled appointments by checking in patients and alerting staff to patient presence
Directs walk-in patients to appropriate staff
Collects relevant patient information and maintains HIPAA compliance
Maintains workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and managing reporting procedures
Manages all incoming telephone calls and represents the agency as a first point of contact with a pleasant and professional demeanor. Routes calls, messages, and deliveries to appropriate staff in a timely fashion
Follows systems and procedures by adhering to operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms control, and budgetary requirements
Manages co-pay and self-pay amounts for patient visits, including documenting amounts received, and alerting patients to outstanding balances
Receives clinical alerts and ensures adherence to patient restrictions, including toxicology screens and appointments with clinical staff
Evaluates functionality of equipment on an ongoing basis and alerts appropriate staff to needs for repairs, maintenance, and inventories
Assists with management of patient documentation, including managing the availability of charts between care providers on the day of intake and ensuring UA and BAC records are retained and available for care providers
Follows production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
Meets cost standards by implementing cost-saving actions. Evaluates condition and availability of office supplies, medical supplies, and equipment and communicates needs to appropriate staff
Manages the waiting area milieu by observing safety and well-being of patients and visitors. Alerts security and clinical staff to situations requiring intervention.
Maintain cleanliness and order of front desk and waiting room areas

Qualifications
Three plus years' experience in a medical office setting, hospital, or similar patient customer service environment. Five plus years, preferred

We are currently in search of an experienced Mental Health Therapist for our Hagerstown, MD location. The Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is responsible for outpatient treatment teams in several areas of Maryland. Candidates must be licensed to provide services in Maryland.
Responsibilities
Monday - Friday 5am - 1pm
Provide high quality clinical therapeutic services to adults, couples and families
Ensure services are provided with client-centered and family-centered healing approach and is delivered through goal specific interventions
Conduct initial interviews and provide a written assessment
Regularly assess treatment progress with the client, and/or the clinical treatment team
Provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and billing and submit said documentation as specified by Medicaid, Medicare and CARF standards
Ensure compliance with governing agency and reporting requirements
Maintain the clinical records and compile documentation required by CCBH and governing agencies
Participate in staff meetings, program clinical team meetings, therapy clinical supervision sessions and in-service as required. Understand and support the CCCB philosophy and treatment modalities
Ensure confidentiality regarding client records, treatment and client information
Exhibit clear, professional, respectful and effective communication when interfacing with clients, coworkers, families and external contacts
Ability to work independently and implementing time management and productivity strategies
Exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality
Stay current with updated research and best practices
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, counseling psychology or clinically related field required
Any of the following licenses are required: LGSW, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC
Active and in good standing in the state of Maryland
Prior experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families is a plus
Must be experienced and proficient in using an electronic health record system

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $34 a hour to $44 a hour. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, licensure, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
