Kona Ice company history timeline
In June of 2007, the very first Kona Ice truck hit the streets.
Kona Ice began franchising in 2008.
In 2009, the first edition of our Success Guide was created.
2010 brought us 51 new franchises and the very first Kona Konvention.
In October 2012, the company launched the Kona Mini, a smaller replica of the Kona Ice truck, to sell shaved ice indoors during winter months.
In 2014, Kona Ice partnered with Northern Kentucky University for an internship program.
In April 2015, Kona Ice partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation.
A dozen new flavors were introduced at Konvention 2017 that were a little more adult-oriented, like Lavender Lemonade, Coconut Lime, Bourbon Black Cherry Vanilla, and Pomegranate Acai.
