Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait. What You Will Be Doing: You will build and modify hardware prototypes in a machine shop environment. Using your hands-on skills, you'll support science, engineering, and R&D projects, assist others in the use of shop tools, and help maintain a safe, organized, and productive workspace. You will report to one of our Production Managers and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office. You Will: * Perform basic machining tasks to fabricate or modify parts * Accept new projects and complete them promptly and accurately * Follow company safety procedures while performing all work * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used * Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition Required Skills: * Experience operating a horizontal band saw, TRAK-style conversational mill, manual lathe * Proficiency with accurate drilling and tapping techniques * Experience working with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, fiberglass, and plastic * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals * At least 1 year of experience following detailed procedures with high accuracy * Comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team #LI-Onsite Total Compensation and Benefits Helion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Program, set-up, and operate a variety of machine tools including CNC lathes, CNC mills, Wire EDM, and various manual (mill, lathe, surface grinder) equipment. Identify materials and tooling required to produce prototype parts, tooling, fixtures, gages, etc. Follow all documented Work closely with engineering to design and develop fixtures, gauges Perform other duties as required/assigned.
