Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Must have excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Knowledge of and passion for wine and the culinary arts as well as providing world-class guest experiences
Proven experience building and managing department budgets, forecasts, and delivering financial reporting
Must be organized and possess strong project management skills
Knowledge of wine and food service standards of customer service
Intermediate to advanced PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with Reserve software and Adobe publisher preferred
Education/Experience
At least 6 years' experience in a luxury hospitality operation with management expertise
WSET II or Introductory Certification from the Court of Master Sommelier preferred
Bachelor's Degree, preferably around food service management or hospitality.
Knowledge and experience of elevated level wine and food service standards and an understanding of luxury décor and presentation

The salary range for this role is:
$94,400.00 - $144,600.00

Tax Organization Oversight
a. Strategic Support

Remain current on key developments in tax and proactively update leadership on key emerging topics and issues, including implications of significant regulatory changes, transactions and other matters with meaningful tax effects.
Provide mentorship and guidance to tax team to support growth and professional development.
Provide consistency and oversight across all areas of tax organization to ensure key assumptions and judgments are consistently and timely applied (e.g., compliance and accounting implications and judgments).
Tax Accounting and Reporting
Provide leadership and oversight for all tax accounting and reporting matters, including the interim and annual income tax provision processes, tax indemnification matters between predecessor and legacy organizations, review and oversight of financial disclosures, and the execution of key controls over financial reporting to produce timely financial statements with accurate tax balances, activity, and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Establish, communicate, and maintain policies to drive compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including ensuring changes are monitored, evaluated, communicated, and adopted in a timely manner.
Oversee effectiveness of internal controls of end-to-end financial processes and reporting to ensure compliance with US GAAP, notably ASC 740.
Provide guidance and oversee the completion of research to develop and document positions to ensure significant, complex business transactions and accounting judgments are appropriate, well supported, and in accordance US GAAP and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements.
Proactively coordinate with management and external auditors to support the completion of annual financial statement audits and the assessment of control effectiveness.
Communicate with clarity regarding significant tax accounting and reporting matters with executive management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Provide guidance on the tax accounting and cash tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
Retain and consult with tax advisors, as needed, to support the organization's tax accounting and effective internal controls, including for complex transactions and judgments where subject matter expertise is required.
Tax Compliance
Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of income and transaction tax compliance with regulations for ongoing business within the US and Canada and related jurisdictions (federal, state, and local income tax; sales and use tax, excise tax, real and personal property tax, etc.).
Manage third parties and internal team that support compliance processes through active review, feedback and coaching.
Manage tax audits, reviews, and examinations conducted by the requisite authorities, overseeing the process through exams, protest/appeals and/or litigation, as necessary, to obtain resolution and the most advantageous outcome for the organization.
Support global tax compliance and audits for periods in which Valvoline was affiliated with predecessor and legacy organizations through strong coordination and collaboration, in addition to the management of related indemnities.
Provide guidance on tax law changes and related implications to the organization and its processes
Strategic Planning and Forecasting
Execute and operationalize the organization's tax strategy and policies in accordance with regulatory requirements
Provide transaction support for acquisitions and divestitures, including structuring recommendations and the evaluation and communication of tax implications.
Partner with accounting, finance, third party advisors and others in the organization to identify, evaluate, and implement tax planning opportunities.
Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance and optimize the organization's tax profile.
Communicate effectively with senior management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on the risks, opportunities and impacts of tax planning strategies.
Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis to establish and monitor annual and long-range budgets and periodic forecasts of tax-related financial statement implications, including the income tax provision and cash taxes, in addition to the effects of significant transactions and changing tax laws and regulations.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Work Experience:
At least 15 years of professional experience gained from progressive tax experience.
Preferred experience includes at least 10 years of experience in a publicly-traded company's tax organization, Big Four public accounting, law firm, or a comparable corporate tax department.
At least 5 years of experience managing and leading tax functions and developing teams, including establishing strategic frameworks and strong business and tax processes and controls, oversight of best practices in taxation, and driving timely financial and management reporting, in addition to critical financial decisions.
Deep experience in applying ASC 740 in accounting and reporting for income and transaction taxes, including significant experience with technical book and tax accounting.
Strategic tax planning execution and/or advisory services for public companies.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in taxation, accounting, finance, or related field required.

Position Overview
The Corporate Development / Business Development / Corporate Strategy professional will play a pivotal role in driving Fiery LLC's growth and strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the CFO and senior management team, this individual will lead the development and execution of the company's corporate strategy, identify new business opportunities, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities to align with and enhance Fiery LLC's strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy Development: Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and management team to create, refine, and implement Fiery LLC's corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with long‑term business goals and market opportunities.
Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business ventures, partnerships, and growth opportunities to expand Fiery LLC's market presence and revenue streams.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead the identification, analysis, and execution of M&A opportunities that complement and accelerate the company's strategic objectives, including due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
KPI Monitoring & Analysis: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's operational and financial performance, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, informing strategic decision‑making.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including finance, operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with business operations.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present strategic recommendations, business cases, and performance reports to the CEO, CFO, and board of directors.
Risk Management: Assess risks associated with new ventures, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, providing recommendations to mitigate potential challenges.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in corporate development, business development, corporate strategy, investment banking, or management consulting, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and/or M&A transactions.
Experience with deal structuring, due diligence, and post‑merger integration is a plus.

Job Summary
Naadam is seeking a Director of Marketplaces to lead and manage our rapidly growing marketplaces business, with a specific focus on our Amazon 1P business across the U.S., Canada, and UK/EU. This role will own and oversee all Amazon activities-including sales, planning, merchandising, advertising, and select operational functions.
As the key business owner for Naadam's Amazon partnership, the Director of Marketplaces is responsible for delivering sustainable growth while upholding brand integrity and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has direct experience at Amazon (retail/vendor management) or managing a premium or fashion brand's Amazon 1P business.
Beyond Amazon, this role will manage Naadam's emerging marketplace businesses operated through Shopify x Mirakl Connect, including inventory strategy, promotions, financial planning, and profitable growth. They will also support the portfolio's presence on mass retailers such as Walmart and Target.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring close partnership with teams across the organization to ensure marketplace performance aligns with Naadam's brand and financial objectives. While this position has no direct reports, it relies on strong collaboration, influence, and cross-team alignment. The role is also highly visible to senior leadership and includes ongoing executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Financial Management
Own the full P&L for Naadam's Amazon 1P business across the US, CA, and UK/EU.
Develop annual sales and profitability plans aligned with company growth and EBITDA targets.
Manage all Amazon POs, forecast demand, and track sell-through to maximize revenue and minimize overstock or chargebacks.
Partner with Finance and Operations to monitor deductions, compliance issues, and recovery opportunities.
Merchandising & Planning
Lead seasonal assortment planning and line architecture for Amazon, balancing brand positioning with marketplace dynamics.
Partner with Merchandising and Production to ensure timely launches and inventory availability.
Lead assortment planning for other marketplaces and identify opportunities to clear aged inventory more efficiently and profitably.
Monitor product performance to optimize pricing, promotions, and markdowns across all geographies.
Marketing & Brand Management
Manage all Amazon advertising (SPA, SBA, DSP), optimizing for ROAS and conversion.
Oversee the Naadam Amazon Brand Store to ensure content, imagery, and storytelling align with Naadam's luxury positioning.
Partner with Amazon Ads teams to build campaigns supporting profitable traffic and seasonal priorities.
Pre-plan discounts and promotions, including a retail calendar for other key marketplaces.
Analyze campaign data and run continuous improvement testing (A/B testing on PDPs, copy, and creative).
Operations
Partner with Production and Planning to align supply and demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Work with fulfillment teams to prioritize PO fulfillment and resolve issues.
Leverage Amazon Vendor Central tools and reporting to forecast replenishment and monitor performance metrics.
Lead operational excellence initiatives to reduce chargebacks, improve shipping accuracy, and enhance vendor performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as Naadam's primary liaison with Amazon's Vendor, Ads, and Retail teams.
Act as the technical liaison with retailers on Shopify x Mirakl Connect, partnering with Sales on account relationships.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Merchandising to drive cohesive go-to-market planning.
Prepare and present performance updates, financials, and growth strategies to executive leadership.

Qualifications

Understanding of Shopify and experience working with integrators such as Mirakl Connect is preferred.
