Communications Services Administrator - 911 Kootenai County is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Communications Services Administrator. Under direction, this position is responsible for coordinating with the planning, designing, managing, and maintaining computerized 9·1·1 telephone systems, radio based analog and digital communications equipment, systems, and related support services This requires strong technical and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the various agencies served by the 9·1·1 Multi-agency Dispatch Center, vendors, and maintenance contractors.

Do you Qualify?
* Education & Experience: Associate degree in electronics technology or a related field, with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in the design, maintenance, and operation of various communications systems. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in VHF/UHF/700/800 MHz land mobile radio communications systems, microwave systems, and a general understanding of fiber optics and networking.
* Certifications: Valid driver's license; General Radio/Telephone Operator License issued by the Federal Communications Commission; MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent certification within two years of employment.

* Asset Management: Maintain comprehensive records in the Communication Asset Survey and Mapping Tool (CASM) and the State Master Site Communication Database for all 700 MHz System radios.
* Project Management: Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and bid requests; assist in the preparation of proposals and manage technical projects related to communications systems.
* Budget Oversight: Collaborate in developing and monitoring the annual 9-1-1 communications technology budget, ensuring expenditures align with allocated funds.
* Policy Development: Create and update policies, procedures, and technical standards for radio and communications equipment and services.

Kootenai Health is seeking a Sterile Processing temporary Tech-In-Training for a position that will begin on the day shift and transition to nights in the near future. This entry-level role works under the direct supervision of the Sterile Processing Educator or a designated Preceptor while training in key areas including Decontamination, Scope Processing, High-Level Disinfection, Instrument Assembly, Case Carts, and Supply Stock. The Tech-In-Training will complete assigned modules and competencies as outlined in the orientation packet and new hire training program. This position operates within a restricted access area and is designed to build foundational skills for a career in sterile processing.

The KCN Practice Specialist coordinates with Kootenai Care Network (KCN) providers through in-person and virtual interactions aiming to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of efforts that serve the needs of KCN patients and the requirements of the network and payors. The KCN Practice Specialist supports members by providing resources and best practices to reduce the burdens of population health management and help solve the operational challenges of the practices with regard to the care of KCN patients.

Responsibilities
* Provides support to assigned Kootenai Care Network clinics/practices performs complex administrative duties including composing correspondence and coordinating resources across multiple departments
* Optimize and train Kootenai Care Network clinic/practice employees and providers on clinical and non-clinical workflows in collaboration and at the direction of leadership
* Build and maintain content and settings in the EHR related to Clinical Content, Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory, Contracting, and other modules, ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational needs
* In conjunction with team supervisor, develop and maintain KCN support project schedule to ensure that all clinic needs are addressed
* Provide KCN membership clinics with best practice training for operational success
* Assist clinic leadership to help monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards
* Become a SME on KCN best practices and guide individual network clinics on operational procedures and policies for optimal success to new ways of completing tasks
* Play a key role in advising the top line: ensuring elevated delivery of patient flow, paperwork administration, patient communications, and clinic operations
* Devise strategies and plans for network member clinic locations according to KCN standards for excellent patient customer service and practice growth
* Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset and ability to execute within KCN operational standards in any situation
* Follows up with low-risk patients after hospitalization, ER visits, or appointments with primary care and specialists/providers to enhance patient connections to services

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience working in a hospital, medical office, or health insurance setting required
* 1 year of project management and/or direct training experience preferred
* Applicable credentialing/licensing in one of the following required:
* Certified Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
* Pharmacy Technician license with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and CPht
* Third party government program or commercial insurance familiarity, specifically registration and insurance verification preferred
* Proficiency using electronic medical terminology, confidentiality, HIPAA, and electronic health record systems preferred
* Must be able to represent Kootenai Care Network in a positive and collaborative manner externally to relevant community partners and other key stakeholders
