    Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies and updates patient demographic records and insurance/financial information, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Performs phlebotomy-related work along with additional duties related to histology, specimen processing, or lab front desk. Please note: This role is split approximately 50% courier duties (client sample pickup/drop-off) and 50% laboratory administrative support. RESPONSIBILITIES: Courier Responsibilities (Approx. 50%) * Pick up and deliver client samples according to scheduled routes and timelines. * Ensure proper handling, chain of custody, and temperature control during transport. * Maintain delivery logs, perform vehicle safety checks, and ensure vehicle cleanliness. * Communicate professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs. * Support urgent or on-demand deliveries as needed. Laboratory Administrative Responsibilities (Approx. 50%) * Log customer samples into the LIMS system with accuracy; use products as needed. * Split samples between departments and ensure timely, accurate, and reliable processing. * Maintain adherence to daily work schedules and workload priorities. * Make recommendations regarding logging processes, product specifications, and customer communications. * Perform clerical accuracy checks and ensure all samples are labeled and stored correctly. * Keep the sample receiving/splitting room organized, cleaned, and maintained. * Support ISO and QC documentation and process adherence. * Interact with clients, suppliers, and vendors as required. * Assist with purchasing, inventory management, and stocking supplies (labels, boxes, etc.). * Assist with sample retain and retrieval. * Support media preparation, washing of glassware, and general laboratory housekeeping. * Participate in special projects as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor. * Keep the Manager/Supervisor informed of department issues or concerns. * Learn new techniques and technologies and help train others when appropriate. * Work effectively with other departments and contribute to a positive team environment. * Other duties as assigned.
