    Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM Equipment Operators are responsible for assisting Parts shipping, receiving and put-away activities in Kubota warehouses through use of stock chasers, forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers. The Equipment Operator is responsible for operation of such equipment 80% of their working time. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines: Obtains copy of shipping orders/put away orders and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility. Moves goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility. Loads and unloads various carriers of Kubota parts and equipment. Stacks goods in correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. Checks to ensure that trucks are properly loaded and materials and equipment are secure. Stacks empty pallets. Performs daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment. Removes machine attachments and waste material from machines. Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards. May assist with warehouse maintenance activities including waste materials into appropriate bins for disposal. Other duties as assigned by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED preferred. Willingness to work any shifts (days or nights, weekends). Certified to operate a forklift, reach truck, order picker as required according to OSHA standards. Good language and reading skills; basic computer skills required. High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment. Follow instructions for operating assigned equipment and keeping required records. Ability to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner. May be required to use RF scanner. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Stock chaser, forklift, reach truck, order picker. Office equipment including computer, copier, phone, printer PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly sitting or standing on a powered industrial truck. Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time. A good sense of balance with the ability to work at heights up to 30 feet. Good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights. Ability to work in varying temperatures depending upon the season both indoors and out. Ability to wear various PPE including fall protection harnesses and seat belt restraints. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Flatbed trailers require extensive knowledge of crate size, weight distribution and height requirements. Must have the ability to climb on load which could be as high as 13 feet 6 inches.     We Make Doors - Where they lead is up to you… Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Gathers the necessary materials, uses the appropriate hand tools, and operates applicable machinery and equipment in the various plants to support the assembly floor and the finished product while achieving production goals, quotas and objectives; * Assists in the assembly operations as directed by management to achieve the goals and objectives of JELD-WEN * Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to appropriate plant personnel including, but not limited to, Group Leaders, or Group Managers or quality control personnel * Labels finished products to match appropriate paperwork * Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations per plant policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines * This includes, but is not limited to, the use of safety glasses, ear plugs, masks, pants, close toed shoes, and associated safety equipment in order to be on the plant floor and assemble the product, and perform the job duties in a safe and efficient/effective manner; Reports unsafe conditions to appropriate supervision * Performs other duties as assigned by management. * Perform repetitive type assembly functions using hand or power tools, and applicable machinery and equipment to assist in the assembly of the JELD-WEN product line * Retrieve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for proper assembly; Must check the quality of material pulled from raw stock and manufactured materials, and assure correct type, amount, and appropriate dimensions for assembly * Places materials and parts in specified relationship to each other Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Ability to read a tape measure accurately * Ability to multiply, divide, add and subtract * Must have the ability to read and comprehend basic verbal and written instructions * Ability to work in an environment where exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations and loud noises. * Ability to adhere to all safety protocols including OSHA guidelines as mentioned above are mandatory. * Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
