The Warehouse Team Lead reports to a Manager, and has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of their assigned area. Located in Casa Grande, AZ

POSITION SUMMARY

Summary

· Ensure that all commitments from the various demand planning groups are within the agreed upon product lead times
· Resolve delays in providing the needed material within the agreed upon timeline

· Ensure the recommit process is followed as needed
· Review the back log report and coordinate any exculations with the supplier and review these recommits and any rejected expedited requests
· Review the suppliers build/ship plans ensuring the plan will meet the commitments based on the PO commit dates.
· Review potential on time shipment, OTS, issues to eliminate any orders shipping after the scheduled date or OTS, and document the issues and report on these issues weekly.
· Manually scheduling of orders falling outside of the product's scheduled lead time with the supplier and identify reasons why product is not schedule within lead time
· Monitor lead time of all POs ensuring the POs are shipped within lead time and reporting on the lead time commitment obtainment and manage the process why the lead time was not obtained to correct any issues.

Role Summary: Responsible for pick up and delivery of inbound and outbound to customer location, using company vehicles at least 50% of the time. Employee driver who will operate commercial motor vehicles (vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Range of >10,000 lb ≤26,000 lb) in the area surrounding a DB Schenker facility (within a 150 air-mile radius).
Principal Responsibilities:

* Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
* Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper's calculations
* Sort outbound freight between overnight and second-day and load ULD and trucks

* Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles

* Responsible for assigned month-end closing and reporting tasks; reviews and analyzes reports for accuracy and ensure timeliness of their submittal.

The S/R is responsible for the accurate input of information concerning orders, shipments, receipts, physical inventories, etc., ensuring that shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer Service· Process all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.· Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer· orders, checking all orders for special requests and shipping paperwork.· Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with operation department, expediting any order as necessary.· Prioritize customer orders according to scheduled pick-up time or pier cutoff.· Furnish shipping and tracking information as required.Customer Interfacing Activities· Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries concerning receipts, shipments, inventory counts, etc., in a courteous and efficient manner.· Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.Clerical· Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files.· Maintain a current and accurate DSV Work Instructions Manual, which details the processing requirements. Answer phone calls and operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties.Data Entry· Operate the computer terminal in a proficient manner.· Enter and verify data regarding customer orders, shipments, receipts, adjustments, etc., in an accurate and timely manner.Documentation· Ensure the accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents.· Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities.· Assist in resolving any discrepancies.· Collect all documentation for inbound freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit.· Comply with all DSV Work Instructions.OTHER DUTIES (Site Specific)· Other clerical duties, including backup support as assigned.· Performs other duties as assigned.· Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES· NoneMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience· Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations· NoneOther· Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESComputer Skills· Basic computer skills· Working knowledge of computerized applications (Microsoft Suites) Language Skills· English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills· Basic level Other· Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner.· Good verbal and written communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Previous customer service experience including phone calls, and operating office equipment.PHYSICAL DEMANDSOccasionally· BendingFrequently· Walking and StandingConstantly· SittingAbility to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull· 11-20 poundso Reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
