The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible to maintain the inventory accuracy, ensuring SKU integrity and modifies processes as needed to improve upon overall accuracy. Working Monday- Friday from 1:00PM to 9:30PM in Haltom City, TX. How you create impact * Investigates and/or leads the investigation efforts of all inventory issues. * Establishes process controls related to inventory movement and accountability in the facility. * Maintains efficient inventory movement throughout facility to include the put away, triangulation, and picking functions. Drives necessary process improvements when needed incorporating all facets of the operations. * Maintain inventory accuracy through put away process during reception, as well as investigative measures with the inventory team if there is a discrepancy. * Complete in full quarterly cycle counts - 100% of DC * Maintain positive performance in regard to contractual inventory KPI's. * Continue to develop KPI reporting to the customer and internally, meet with customer weekly to update on performance. Present data analytically prepared to explain variances regarding root cause, change management, training opportunities, and other related reasons. * Lead, facilitate, and oversee the execution of daily inventory policies, procedures, analysis and reporting to meet facility inventory metrics. * Work with Security to establish and adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures. * Maintain missing item location as per customer expectations. Works with stations in an effort to find alternative routings or solutions to service commitments * Coordinates non-fleet movement of freight on alternative carriers as well as monitors and coordinates the movement of freight on the system's fronthaul/backhaul * Tracks and maintains all information on non-fleet movements for daily recaps and reports * Monitors movement and performance of specialty products identifying and reporting any problems * May receive orders from forwarders and completes the booking process * May serve as the central point of contact for customer's inquires and questions The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Extensive data input and research. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel. Essential Functions: Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests. Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): This is a senior level position.
