How you create impact * Supervise the daily activities of the LAX warehouse activities, including labor scheduling/staffing, supervision and the proper utilization of space, equipment, and manpower. * Supervise both import/export warehouse operations including TSA screening facility, CFS Warehouse, dangerous goods, and security for our Kuehne+Nagel Products including sea and air operations. * Utilize knowledge of build-up and contour with relation to Unit Load Devices (ULD). * Maintain Kuehne+Nagel's areas and equipment whilst implementing and adhering to the high quality, safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs, and customer service standards. * Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies. What we would like you to bring * 3+ years of experience in a warehousing environment with 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role. * Direct experience with Unit Load Devices (ULD) in the loading/unloading of shipments for screening is highly preferred. * Quickly establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision. * Relevant certification required for handling any hazardous material(s) and material handling equipment is preferred. * Schedule availability for 8.30 AM - 5.00 PM from Tuesday through Saturday. * Flexibility to work required overtime hours as needed. * High school diploma or equivalent * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including ability to learn internal warehouse computerized systems.
