GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Manager of Quality Assurance Possesses a high degree of understanding of manufacturing quality practices, fundamentals and uses them to assess and analyze product quality performance of ceramic products. Able to work independently and with colleagues to research and coordinate determination of root cause of electrical, mechanical, R/D, Proto-type software problems etc. Provides timely professional details and summaries of findings and conducts internal audits and controls. Regularly interfaces with customer representatives and production to manage requirements and deliverables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day quality operations related to KII plant, location, or product line.
* Will focus on maintaining internal quality management systems, oversee the audit program and work with/manage contract development and manufacturing organizations to ensure compliance with KII and customer programs.
* The Quality Assurance Manager will report the Senior Quality Manager and ensure he/she is aware of all significant returns, systems issues, and quality related initiatives.
* Provide quality oversight and manage projects for development and production of KII products and supplier programs. May lead committees, training, and roadmaps for non-quality team members. Participates in meetings and presentations such as MRM, PBC, HE Review, and CAR review Board.
* Ensure implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality management systems, including but not limited to procedure writing, document control, deviations, change controls, investigations, CAPAs, CAR and related personnel training.
* Leads calibration program and hires/trains technicians or outside vendors.
* Manage KII audit program, including audit preparation, execution of the audit, audit report and follow-up to any findings to Sr leadership.
* Manage staff of quality engineers and technicians. Train, evaluate, motivate, and develop staff.
* Routine travel will be required between various locations in the US (10% travel). Will work closely with KII sales, other quality teams, internal audit, and customers weekly.
* Establishes and monitors process metrics and develops action plans as needed for plant, location, or division.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

The Product Engineer will be responsible for a specific healthcare product or group of products from concept and definition through production and release. The Role
Modeling of vehicle wireline communications links and networks, with emphasis on signal integrity.

Define a DSP architecture for those processing blocks and algorithms that is practical and efficient to implement.
Collaborate with digital and firmware engineers to implement those functions.
Guide definition and system-level testing of proof-of-concept wired communication modules.

Requirements

As a Machinist, you'll set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision ceramic parts. You'll work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality production in a clean, safety-focused environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
* Set up and operate CNC machines (Haas, Fanuc, Okuma, etc.)
* Adjust controls and offsets to maintain .0005 tolerances
* Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
* Perform First Article Inspections and document results
* Use micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision tools
* Maintain clean work areas and follow P5S initiatives
* Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines
* Communicate effectively across shifts and teams
* Report machine issues, safety concerns, and non-conformances
REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or GED (Machine Technology certificate preferred)
* 1+ years of advanced CNC 3-axis machining experience
* Ability to read mechanical drawings and perform precision measurements
* Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, conversions)
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
* Eligible to work in an ITAR environment

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Operator 2 position is responsible for the proper preparation, cleaning loading, inspection and running of parts in 1-4 production machines with moderate supervision. Works from written instructions, work orders, standard programs, and instructions given by the supervisor or lead.

* Basic computer operation for recording metrics (weight, length, ID, OD, density or counts etc.) Maintain quality tools and accurate record keeping.
* Monitors and documents the operation of the assigned machines including periodic watches every 2 hours; performs minor maintenance and reports major repairs needed, to equipment as required.
* Properly records information on production as instructed including pass down information. Keeps work area clean, safe, and organized.
* Maintains safety and Quality Assurance standards by knowing and applying proper procedures for operating the machines within the department.
* Assists with company 5S program and keeps work area clean or spills.
* Read handheld measuring instruments properly and support less experienced operators in measurement.
* Transport parts to and from machines without damage. Cross train in CMM and other advanced measurement tools.
* Complies with applicable requirements of Kyocera International, Inc. policy, including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO18001, ITAR and any other site-specific regulations.
* Produce precision parts within the time constraints on the work order/ traveler. Support machinists as needed.

Role Overview:
As a Process Engineer, you will drive improvements in production processes, implement new systems, and lead projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and quality. The Process Engineering Specialist supports the improvement and implementation of production processes and procedures. This position involves the setup of new production systems and the analyses of current systems.
