GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Operator 3 position is responsible for the proper preparation, cleaning loading, inspection and running of parts in 1-4 production machines with limited supervision. Works from written instructions, work orders, standard programs, and instructions given by the supervisor or lead. Regularly trains other operators.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED Required
4+ year experience in a machining environment and/or Machine Technology Certificate or appropriate education
Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide all units of measure including common and decimal fractions
Familiarity with mechanical drawings/blueprints, including GDT
Vision and depth perception suitable for use of handheld inspection tools
Willingness to wear finger cots, masks, and/or clean-room apparel
Ability to either stand or walk for extended periods of shift
Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs. depending on the specific function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains the flow of production parts into the assigned machine or process. Work can be highly repetitive but requires attention to machines.
* Unload variety of custom parts may inspect them to remove and record any defective parts.
* Basic computer operation for recording metrics (weight, length, ID, OD, density or counts etc.) Maintain quality tools and accurate record keeping.
* Monitors and documents the operation of the assigned machines including periodic watches every 2 hours; performs minor maintenance and reports major repairs needed, to equipment as required.
* Properly records information on production as instructed including pass down information. Keeps work area clean, safe, and organized.
* Maintains safety and Quality Assurance standards by knowing and applying proper procedures for operating the machines within the department.
* Assists with company 5S program and keeps work area clean or spills.
* Read handheld measuring instruments properly and support less experienced operators in measurement.
* Transport parts to and from machines without damage. Cross train in CMM and other advanced measurement tools.
* Complies with applicable requirements of Kyocera International, Inc. policy, including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO18001, ITAR and any other site-specific regulations.
* Produce precision parts within the time constraints on the work order/ traveler. Support machinists as needed.
* Ability to use G/M codes at the controller to adjust.
* Trains other operators or inspectors as assigned.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Clean Line Technician 2 will perform various tasks in Chemical and Clean Room environments designed to ensure manufactured parts meet customer required cleanliness specifications. They will be responsible for processing parts through the Rough Clean Line, Chem Line, visual inspection, Clean Room packaging, and Packaging. They will also be responsible for maintaining proper chemical tank composition and interacting with and processing hazardous chemical waste.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required.
1 - 3 years of related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment.
Ability to read, write and comprehend verbal as well as written instructions in English.

* Use forklift, drum lift, and pallet jacks to transport hazardous waste. Perform basic waste treatment tasks to ensure waste is within specification.
* Use various equipment to test part cleanliness and some dimensional measurements to ensure parts meet required specifications.
* Perform basic assembly following procedure for various parts.
* Communicates with Supervisor / Manager when obstacles or issues are present that prevent workflow and offers potential solutions.
* Offers ideas for continual improvement and may help implement these ideas after approval.
* Will train and/or inspect or check work of lower level technicians and operators.

Overview:
The Senior Facilities Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of all facility systems within a 24/7 operational environment. The Machinist sets up and operates a wide variety of industrial machines which may include: CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, and surface grinders to machine ceramic parts. * May measure, mark, and/or scribe dimensions and reference points on parts. Should review technique cards and customer specific work orders continuously for changes.
* Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers to maintain .0005 tolerances.
* Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine controls. Uses proper procedures for editing codes or machine applications.
* Documents all instances and circumstances of scrapped parts or machine issues, utilizing proper forms and pass down reports. Communicate effectively with peers on and off shift to ensure continuous effective machine utilization.
* Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and completes independent First Article Inspection reports. Read prints and inspect parts for conformance in accordance with ISO 9001. May troubleshoot and review work of other machinists.
* Trained on CMM and/or optical comparator. Routinely works with precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges to ensure GDT quality checks. May measure parts for operators or less experienced team members.
* Reports machine failures, non-conformance, spills, accidents, EHS concerns and maintenance requests immediately.
* Participates in P5S initiatives; keep machinery clean and machine area clear of debris. Address spills, gauges, and sensors immediately.
* Performs basic preventative maintenance on machines daily and records. This includes cleaning and checking oil, coolant etc.
* Adhere to all safety programs including PPE and safe operating practices. Model and train others on departmental safety procedures, JSAs and directives.
* Cross trained on multiple machine types including 3 and 5 axis CNC machines and diamond tooling. Ability to calculate complex dimensions to meet tolerances and apply G and M codes and GD and T. Troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and complete minor machine repairs.

Job Description
The Equipment and Process Engineering teams are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to provide support to our Beaverton, Oregon wafer fab. As a fab engineering intern, you'll be supporting the semiconductor manufacturing process inside a wafer fab. This will include solving day to day issues that arise as well as making progress on long-term improvement projects.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Perform, direct, and coordinate installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance of wet etch and solvent strip tools:
* Electrical systems

Primary Purpose and Position Summary:
Optimize the performance of tools and equipment for semiconductor wafer production within a cleanroom environment. Cultivate strong internal relationships and provide excellent customer service and support in a timely manner. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Machinist sets up and operates a wide variety of industrial machines which may include: CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, and surface grinders to machine ceramic parts. Machinists are expected to run 1-4 machines simultaneously and understand all aspects of set up and precision measuring. They may also train other operators and machinists.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required.
3-6 years CNC experience or on-the-job training to include completion of 2-year Machine Technology certificate
Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including decimal fractions.
Read mechanical drawings/blueprints including GD and T
Vision and depth perception suitable for use of inspection microscopes.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to either stand or walk for extended periods.
Ability to mentor, train or lead other Operators and machinists
Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
Eligible to work in an ITAR environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up and observes CNC machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; adjusts machine controls or indicators as required. This includes tool offset adjustments using a variety of controllers (Haas, Fanuc, Okuma etc.).
* May measure, mark, and/or scribe dimensions and reference points on parts. Should review technique cards and customer specific work orders continuously for changes.
* Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers to maintain .0005 tolerances.
* Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine controls. Uses proper procedures for editing codes or machine applications.
* Documents all instances and circumstances of scrapped parts or machine issues, utilizing proper forms and pass down reports. Communicate effectively with peers on and off shift to ensure continuous effective machine utilization.
* Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and completes independent First Article Inspection reports. Read prints and inspect parts for conformance in accordance with ISO 9001. May troubleshoot and review work of other machinists.
* Trained on CMM and/or optical comparator. Routinely works with precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges to ensure GDT quality checks. May measure parts for operators or less experienced team members.
* Reports machine failures, non-conformance, spills, accidents, EHS concerns and maintenance requests immediately.
* Participates in P5S initiatives; keep machinery clean and machine area clear of debris. Address spills, gauges, and sensors immediately.
* Performs basic preventative maintenance on machines daily and records. This includes cleaning and checking oil, coolant etc.
* Adhere to all safety programs including PPE and safe operating practices. Model and train others on departmental safety procedures, JSAs and directives.
* Cross trained on multiple machine types including 3 and 5 axis CNC machines and diamond tooling. Ability to calculate complex dimensions to meet tolerances and apply G and M codes and GD and T. Troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and complete minor machine repairs.
* Will work on proto-type parts and new specifications with limited instructions or established procedures. Ability to write, test, edit and troubleshoot programs as assigned.
* Communicates and interacts effectively with production management, engineers, and quality team to make departmental improvements. Makes innovative suggestions for improvements.
