Summary: The MaintenanceTechnician can perform a wide variety of work to ensure that the facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing work in all operational and Facilities areas, depending upon the immediate needs of the department. While MaintenanceTechnicians may have developed skills in one or more areas, all are expected to be able to perform general maintenance and repair in all areas of assignment, which may include equipment, motor and conveyor repair and maintenance as well as building maintenance including lighting, electrical and plumbing in any of the distribution centers.
Responsibilities
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
Ability to use electrical diagnostic equipment (to include digital and analog meters, and amp meters for AC/DC testing).
Ability to work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a collaborative and constructive manner.
Works with Supervisor to mentor/develop team and Tech's in training.
Work with Vendors aligned to facilities.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to change load wheels on power equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair low and high voltage controls including fuses, relays, wiring.
Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
Document all work order activities to comply with MP2 requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed.
Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
Experience working in maintenance in a distribution center setting.
Building conveyor maintenance experience required.

Job Overview
The Maintenance Engineer II maintains the physical structure and equipment of the store, ensuring they remain in good working order. About the Role
As an Industrial MaintenanceTechnician, you will be responsible for maintaining site assets and ensuring the mechanical and electrical operability of plant equipment. This role supports safe, efficient, and reliable production by performing routine and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Statement of Job
Maintain site assets by performing mechanical and general electrical maintenance, modifying and assembling equipment as needed, and supporting the safe, efficient operation of plant systems. This role is responsible for the care, maintenance, and operability of all associated equipment in accordance with safety and quality specifications, regulatory guidelines, and company policies, with minimal supervision.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and emergency mechanical and general electrical maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, install, adjust, and fabricate equipment and systems
Support plant safety programs and comply with OSHA, NEC/NFPA 70E, and food safety standards
Maintain clean work areas and accurate maintenance records within the CMMS system
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability-centered maintenance activities
Lubricate assets using precision lubrication techniques
Provide technical support to team members and respond efficiently to trouble calls
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and contractors as needed
Obtain and maintain forklift certification
Perform other duties as assigned
Special Requirements
Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical fundamentals, and ability to work independently
Physically capable of performing demanding work, including awkward positions
Ability to work safely around noise, chemicals, and outdoor conditions
Must supply own tools required to perform maintenance tasks
Journeyman-level Industrial MaintenanceTechnician or Millwright certification, or equivalent experience
Basic knowledge of 480V three-phase power, power distribution, control wiring, PLCs, and VFDs
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including component replacement and VFD fault recognition
No PLC, VFD, servo, or instrumentation programming responsibilities; may include coder setup
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Compliance with PPE, GMP, and food safety requirements

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Plant Maintenance Tech is responsible for Preventive, Corrective, Emergency & Safety Maintenance of all processing equipment in all areas of the plant up to and including the Wastewater treatment plant. Duties include but are not limited to; troubleshooting, inspection, testing & diagnostics, removal and replacement of parts and or equipment.
Position Roles & Responsibilities:
Ability to perform maintenance up to and including, inspection of equipment, motor & gearbox replacement, bearing & seal replacement as well major component removal & replacement.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment failure and implement corrective action for repair.
Ability to clean, lubricate and adjust process equipment as needed.
Ability to troubleshoot intermediate electrical components and repair as needed.
Ability to effectively fabricate & weld all metals, emphasis on stainless steel.
Ability to communicate effectively with Maintenance Manager.
Ability to keep accurate documentation and record keeping.
Ability to identify Safety hazards and put corrective actions in place.
Keep work areas clean and free from debris.
Must complete all required training certificates in designated areas.
Boiler training & certification is required.
Ability to use COGZ program to generate work orders and PM's.

The Maintenance - Packaging Machinist will under minimal direction of management or other employees, safely performs and guides: the coordination and repair, replacement, installation, inspection, enhancement, optimization, testing and troubleshooting of all pack floor facilities, including high-speed packaging equipment such as cartoners, case packers, etc.
Who You Are & What You'll Do
As the Maintenance - Packaging Machinist must have mechanical experience and knowledge with high-speed packaging equipment, hydraulics including DCV valves, pneumatics including different types of actuating cylinders, gearboxes, drive systems, transport conveyors and associated subcomponents, and performing line mechanical changeovers. Working knowledge of PLC, Frequency Drives, Process Controls is a plus. Must be able to display manual dexterity and perform all physical demands as outlined in the job description; and understand and follows all GMP/Plant Hygiene guidelines when performing their daily functions as well as being able to work with little or no direction on a team/in a group.
All activities must be performed in strict compliance with Unilever standards and safety guidelines.
* Performs Preventative Maintenance Routines including accurate, complete, and timely follow-up documentation. This documentation includes computerized work order updates, inventory transactions, verbal and written reports, etc.
