The Shipping Associate is responsible for consolidating customer orders and preparing them for shipping by specific carrier. Schedule: M-F, 6am to 2:30pm Compensation: $19.00/hour
Key Responsibilities Include:
Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Filling customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Stacking boxes on pallets to be loaded onto truck making sure pallets are stretch wrapped correctly
Using computer hardware and software to generate labels for boxes to be shipped
Maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies
Ensuring shipping area is organized and clean at all times, and meets all compliance factors
Learning and applying appropriate labeling to certain shipments of federally regulated products
Supervision:
This position is frequently supervised by the Shipping / Inbound Supervisor.

Essential Job Duties
Protect life and property at Portland International Airport (PDX).
