LaAmistad seeks teachers and individuals passionate about K-5 education to serve and support our afterschool programming as aclassroomteacher. This team member will support students andthe Site Director by delivering math and
reading instruction and assisting with daily program operations. This is an ideal role for a candidate with strong instructional knowledge, organizational skills, and a love of children and teaching.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Work closely with the Afterschool Site Director to:
Deliver academic support focused on reading and math tailored to students individual needs.
Set up and maintain afterschool program activities, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
Administer reading and math assessments accurately and efficiently to monitor student progress.
Analyze assessment data and prepare clear reports to guide instructional decisions and communicate outcomes.
Provide grade-level appropriate resources and activities to support targeted learning goals.
Assist and coordinate with volunteers to maximize program effectiveness and student engagement.
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, volunteers, and staff.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, scheduling, and record-keeping.
Communicate effectively with the afterschool team, students, families, and school staff, to support student success.
Analyze student data to enhance learning outcomes and guide instructions.
Assist in preparing, teaching, and evaluating assigned instructional content.
Guide staff and volunteers
to recognize and address diverse learner needs.
Use best practices in math, reading, and writing instruction.
Support implementation of balanced literacy strategies and assessments.
Provide constructive feedback to staff and volunteers on student needs.
Model and lead classroom management (student behavior & engagement).
Support the Site Director with on-site programming needs.
Prepare supplemental materials to help students practice skills.
Ensure student engagement with learning and volunteers.
Model instructional resources for staff and volunteers.
Ensure academic resources are appropriate for student needs.
Collaborate with Site Director and Parent Liaison on planning.
Attend mandatory professional development (quarterly) and team meetings (monthly).
Fill in as Site Director as needed.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree or higher (preferably in Education or a related field)
Minimum 1-3 years of formal or informal teaching experience with children grades K-5.
Strong knowledge of math and reading strategies.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Comfortable managing and working in a room with a large group of elementary students.
Ability to administer and interpret academic assessments.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite (including Chromebooks).
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Possess or qualify for a Georgia Teaching License.
Experience working with English Language Learners (ELLs).
Experience working with volunteers.
Experience working with diverse populations and multicultural settings.
Experience coaching others in instructional strategies (math and reading).
Candidates over age 25 who are willing to drive a small bus/van to transport up to 14 students to afterschool, in addition to filling this role, will receive an additional $2/hour above their determined pay rate.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, walk, and carry/lift items up to 30 lbs.
Navigate campuses quickly, including climbing stairs and pushing rolling carts.
Adequate hearing and vision to fulfill job responsibilities.

As a Social Worker at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working to help patients living with kidney disease achieve maximum social functioning and psychological adjustment to dialysis treatment and rehabilitation.
What you will be doing
Advocate & Support. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team working to ensure patients receive the best care, including conducting all required patient assessment and care planning activities such as assessing new patient psychosocial needs and completing the KDQOL in accordance with company policy and all state/CMS regulations. You will identify and counsel psychosocial issues and provide patient and family education. What we're looking for

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Ensure the provision of quality patient care to all hospitalized patients in the most efficient manner in accordance with company policy. Provides direct supervision and coordination of inpatient staff. Responsible for high volume monthly treatments. Utilizes the FMC mission, core values and customer service philosophy to ensure quality service while maintaining a high level of efficiency management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing. Monitor costs/spending in all areas including medical supply inventory, personnel and accounts payable. Determine innovative ways to reduce costs and maintain quality.
Ensures proper staffing and operations at all contracted facilities. Ensure efficient staff/ patient scheduling and efficient staffing utilization following company policy while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsible for Acute Care Electronic System (ACES) include the following:
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
Collaborate with contracted facility representatives to maintain a state of survey readiness for internal and external agency surveys. Work with contracted facility (ies) to resolve specific department issues as suggested/directed as a result of a survey.
Maintains and prepares QAI data and presentations. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives, often leading a collaborative effort among members of a project team. Assures provision of facility specific QAI information as appropriate.
Interacts with internal departments and external customers; particularly in problem resolution and acting as the industry expert on behalf of the customer.
Ensures compliance with hospital regulations and participates in surveys conducted by TJC, CMS, OSHA and other agencies.
Ensure a proper orientation and training program for all clinical and technical staff. Ensure that continuing in-services are provided to all clinical and technical staff. Maintain documentation of all training.
Conduct and document acute staff meetings on a regular basis.
Ensures provision of dialysis and related services such as hemoperfusion, apheresis, continuous renal replacement therapies, peritoneal dialysis, and UF complete if contracted to do so.

If appropriately licensed, performs treatments as necessary to assist in times of high census, staffing shortages, and/or to assist with managing staffing costs as appropriate.
Confer routinely with Technical Program Manager and Technical Operations Manager to ensure preventative maintenance program for routine machine maintenance, to ensure the timely repair of disabled machines, to coordinate infection control measures, routine culturing, water testing, logging of results, transportation of equipment and supplies and communicate technical information to the staff.
Ensure all acute treatments are performed in contracted hospitals according to the established policies and procedures and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Ensure efficient utilization of supplies and equipment.
Assist with various projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Global Distributor Accounts Leader and is responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and successful deployment of orders to Avanos key distributors and accounts. The incumbent will provide tactical support to assigned customers ensuring the efficient processing of orders, discrepancies, and concerns. The ideal candidate will be their customer's first point of contact for general information, backorder management, and availability requests, enforcing Avanos procedures, best practices, and standards. Individuals in this role are required to have proven exceptional communication (written and verbal) and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a focal point for all distributor/key account inquiries/issues relating to order, price, credit, logistics, customs, damage, shipping, or related items. Work with necessary Avanos teams to resolve issues.
Ownership for Order Management of key accounts/distributors, including but not limited to EDI troubleshooting, Overages, Shortages, and Damages (OS&D), logistics and back-office concerns, etc.
Responsible for identifying, processing, and communicating Team Metrics, analyzing key account data, suggesting, and implementing improvement.
Communicate consistently with superiors, peers, and others who have a need to know. Information should be communicated professionally, in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
Management and maintenance of Customer Facing related processes, systems, and reporting, including but not limited to Customer Portal and EDI.
Process returns and order handling adjustments
Works cross-functionally with other teams and departments to gather insights which will improve customer experience and transactional effectiveness.
Identify and implement plans, in conjunction with internal Avanos business partners to facilitate shipments that best meets customer requirements.
Ensure all required documentation is provided to the customer and maintain customer records.
Utilizing project management skills to effectively develop implementation plans and accurate project timelines to ensure business objectives are met.
Drive Continuous Improvement culture within Customer Service.
Your qualifications

Our Respiratory Department is dedicated to providing quality, patient centered care and service to the citizens of this community. Some facts about us:
We utilize Respiratory Driven Protocols to manage patients in ICU and acute care areas. After completing competency, RTs are able to intubate and insert A-lines
We work in adult cardiac care unit (ICU), medical/surgical ICU, progressive care unit (PCU), acute care floors (women's, medical, surgical, joint/spine, neuro)
We have a Women's Center with a level 3 NICU. RTs will attend deliveries and care for babies who are admitted to the NICU receiving respiratory care
We have a pulmonary function lab (PFT) where RTs perform outpatient and inpatient PFTS
We perform inpatient EKGs on the general care floors, occasionally outpatient (shared service with cardiology)
We manage GE Carescape R860 vents, Servo I vents, Drager VN500 and HFOV NICU vents, Phillips V60, Bubble CPAP, REMstar CPAP, Smart Vest, and Airvo
We perform bronchoscopy assistance with Glidescope disposable bronchs
Opportunity to cross-train on EEGs, PFTs and NICU
Option to participate in Annual Pulmonary Conference, Leadership Development classes, and Skills Development Courses
Our team consists of approximately 50 members, 1 director, 1 supervisor, 1 NICU lead, and 2 adult lead
We typically run 7 people during the day and 6-7 at night. Varies per census and acuity
We cover our South Campus which has an ED, behavioral health unit and acute care rehab. 1 RT for each shift.
We allow candidates to shadow our department and facility
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS. Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies. One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties preferred.

The role you'll contribute:
The Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate (EMT-I) is responsible for the delivery of pre-hospital emergent and non-emergent care for a patient and/or group of patients. The EMT-I is also responsible for following policies and procedures and medical protocols while practicing within the scope of training. Must also utilize professional discretion and independent judgment, while practicing within the state, facility and regulatory guidelines.

Performs assessment based on scope of training and medical protocols to determine and apply methods of treatment and transport.

Completes patient care reports, billing reports and all other required documentation per established practices, guidelines and regulations.

As a Parent Liaison, you'll be the trusted voice families turn to for support, guidance, and resources. From translating communication to helping parents navigate school systems, your work will ensure every family feels seen, informed, and involved in their childs success.
Key Responsibilities
As a Parent Liaison, you will work closely with families, staff, and community partners to improve family engagement and communication at your assigned afterschool site(s).
Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, ensuring consistent and culturally sensitive communication in both English and Spanish.
Translate and distribute key information to families and staff (program announcements, schedules, parent updates, school reports, etc.).
Assist afterschool staff and volunteer tutors in managing logistics, communication, and parent needs on site.
Help parents understand and navigate school systems and community services.
Build meaningful relationships with students' families and support them in addressing educational, behavioral, or social challenges.
Maintain accurate and confidential records related to parent communication and student needs.
Refer families to appropriate external resources or agencies when necessary.
Attend and help coordinate meetings, events, and workshops involving families, school staff, or community partners.
Support school-home communication and ensure alignment with LaAmistads mission and goals.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
Requires physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs., walk across campuses, push supply carts, and climb stairs as needed.
A Typical Day Might Look Like:
Review messages from parents and translate updates for program staff
Help prep for afterschool sessions; greet parents or school reps as needed
Assist with student arrivals and support tutoring sessions on-site
Meet with a family about accessing school support services
Draft and distribute bilingual parent updates or resource flyers
Log records and prep for upcoming parent events or workshops

Parents are informed, engaged, and actively participating in their childrens education.
Volunteers and staff receive clear, bilingual communication support.
Students feel supported by a unified network of school, family, and afterschool advocates.

Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Fluency in both Spanish and English (written, spoken, and listening)
High school diploma or GED
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Zoom
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work both collaboratively and independently
Access to reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Must provide own laptop
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Experience with tutoring, parent coaching, school systems, or social services
Familiarity with the needs of Latino communities and diverse family structures
Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for events
Candidates over age 25 who are willing to drive a small bus/van to transport up to 14 students to afterschool, in addition to filling this role, will receive an additional $2/hour above their determined pay rate.
