La Crosse Country Club company history timeline
The first announcement for the formation of what is now known as the La Crosse Country Club appeared in the August 5, 1900 issue of the La Crosse Chronicle.
The original barn-like section of the clubhouse was built in 1901, with several additions completed over time.
In 1994, the La Crosse Country Club moved to Onalaska, and the golf course on Losey Boulevard reopened as a municipal golf course named Forest Hills, which is open to the public.
In 1998, the name of this clubhouse/banquet facility and golf course was changed to the present name of Forest Hills.
