Produce complete, timely, thorough, quality clinical documentation of all services rendered, both billable and non-billable, as required. The documentation must include sufficient information about the activity being documented and the client's participation in, and response to, the activity. Ensure quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated duties. Utilize Best Practice therapeutic approaches whenever possible. Maintain all client records in current status and in accordance with agency policies and procedures, as well as RBHA, state, and federal requirements. Participate in the agency's Quality Management Program, as needed or requested. Participate actively in regular supervision, accepting feedback and suggestions in a collaborative and strengths-based way. Interact regularly and constructively with the clinical team, support staff, and administrative staff. Participate in all regularly scheduled administrative, in-service, and staff meetings. Recommend changes that would improve service delivery. Coordinate communication with other departments of the agency in accomplishing continuity of care. Participate in standing and ad hoc committees and work groups, as requested. Provide instruction and training for interns and coworkers in his/her respective discipline, as requested. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with state, community, and contracting organizations, and with collaborating partners. (The city of Maricopa, in Pinal county, is 25 miles southwest of Chandler, AZ). In this position, you will utilize your experience to provide direct clinical service including individual, family, and group therapy for families, youth and adults. Job responsibilities include facilitation of individual and family counseling, performing clinical liaison duties for assigned clients, ensuring quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated duties, maintaining all client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures, including appropriate intake and risk assessments, diagnosis, service planning, progress notes, discharge planning, termination documentation, and inter-agency reports. This ENTRY LEVEL Mobile Crisis Therapist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responding to crisis calls, completing crisis intervention for ongoing clients, case management and coordination of care, as well as interfacing with first responders. What you'll do: Our Clinical Service Liaison (Intake Clinician) will participate in community outreach and engagement for the purposes of community education, awareness of mental health resources for children/adults, identifying uninsured or under-insured who may qualify for mental health services under MHBG or CBHSF grants. Additionally, the Clinical Service Liaison will participate in the enrollment of children/adults for those referrals obtained via the outreach activities. Essential Responsibilities: Clinical Service Liaison will be active in the community to identify and solicit MHBG referrals Will develop, enhance, maintain relationships with other community providers of services Coordinate and facilitate community/professional presentations on mental health resources, build awareness of mental health resources for the uninsured or under-insured Comply with all tracking and reporting requirements, including but not limited to mileage, associated expenses, referrals, presentations Conduct initial enrollments, evaluations, assessments for referrals acquired. Direct services may be in-home, in school, community based, or office based. In collaboration with each client, support services to families, youth, and adults, that meet the following 12 Arizona Principles: Collaboration with the family, youth and adult; Emphasis on achieving functional outcomes; Collaboration with others, including participation in unified assessment, planning, and service approaches when families, youth, and adults are involved with multiple systems; Access for families, youth, and adults to a comprehensive array of sufficient behavioral health services to meet their needs; Best practices; Most appropriate setting; Timeliness; Services tailored to the family, youth, and adult; Stability in placements; Respect for the family's, youth's, and adult's unique cultural heritage; Independence; Connection to natural supports. Ensure the continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive behavioral health services to family, youth, and adult. Assist additional team members, which include Clinical Coordinators, Managers, and/or Director in coordinating communication with other departments of the agency or with external stakeholders in accomplishing this function. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver 40 hours of work per week, with a goal of 15 hours of direct client contact, including case management as needed. Work independently and responsibly, and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of procedures and processing for organizing tracking and maintaining essential job responsibilities Ensure quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated duties. Comply with the agency's standard of care for service delivery. Assist with Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and Utilization Review Participate in regular supervision, accepting feedback and suggestions in a collaborative and strengths-based way. Interact regularly and constructively with the clinical team, support staff, and administrative staff Demonstrate flexibility in schedule, including offering evening and/or weekend hours needed to meet essential job responsibilities What you'll provide: Must qualify as BHT (Behavioral Health Technician). Basic clinical skills. Effective communicator: written, verbal, interpersonal, presentations, meeting facilitation. Must be comfortable outreaching to businesses, agencies, schools; comfortable with public speaking. Effective personal organization; ability to prioritize; work efficiently and independently Strong customer service orientation. Training/Presentation knowledge and/or experience. Proficient with MS Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Knowledge of NextGen preferred but not required. Must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card or be eligible to obtain one. Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment. We are an EEO/AA Employer. What you'll do: Provide therapy to adults and their families from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, treating a broad variety of presenting problems. The therapy services will include assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence of base treatment. It will also include maintaining client records in current and complete status. Provide outpatient individual, group and family supportive counseling to SMI clients and their families. Use community resources and referrals, as appropriate, to enhance and expand treatment. Deliver at least 40 hours of work per week, with a goal of 30 hours of therapy services. Productivity standards are established annually, at a minimum. Some evening hours are required. Produce complete, timely, thorough, quality clinical documentation of all services rendered, both billable and non-billable, as required. The documentation must include sufficient information about the activity being documented and the client's participation in, and response to, the activity. Ensure quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated duties. Utilize Best Practice therapeutic approaches. Maintain all client records in current status and in accordance with agency policies and procedures, as well as RBHA, state, and federal requirements. Participate in the agency's Quality Management Program, as needed or requested. Participate actively in regular supervision, accepting feedback and suggestions in a collaborative and strengths-based way. Interact regularly and constructively with the clinical team, support staff, and administrative staff. Participate in all regularly scheduled administrative, in-service, and staff meetings. Recommend changes that would improve delivery service. Provide instruction and training for interns and coworkers in his/her respective discipline, as requested. What you'll provide: Must have a minimum of Master's degree required and 4 years of full time Behavioral Health work experience or meet BHT requirements. Bachelor's degree in behavioral health related field preferred. Knowledge and experience working with the Maricopa County Regional Behavioral Health Authority preferred. Adequate understanding of the behavioral health field, including basic understanding of psychiatric diagnoses, symptoms and the role of case management preferred. Adequate computer and typing skills required. Experience working with Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word and Next Gen preferred. Must have a valid AZ Driver's License with no major infractions in past 39 months. Must have regular access to reliable transportation. Bi-lingual (Spanish) Diff per hour available.
