Duties
During the course of their careers, Secret Service Police carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Transportation Driver provides safe and reliable transportation services that directly support our mission to help immigrants and refugees move from uncertainty to stability. This position ensures clients can access essential services by providing timely transportation to medical appointments, CIRA offices, work locations, the airport, and other important destinations throughout Nebraska and Southwest Iowa.
The driver plays a vital role in our clients' daily lives, often serving as a welcoming first point of contact with CIRA services. In addition to transportation, this position assists with vehicle maintenance, occasional donation pickup and delivery, and other operational support as needed. Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients to appointments, CIRA offices, work, and other essential destinations

Responsibilities
The Det 1 Exercise Plans Contractor will have extensive knowledge of Theater Air Control System (TACS)/Army Air-Ground System (AAGS) at the JTF, Corps and Division levels. The Exercise Planner will apply the unique capabilities of the Air Component into the US Army Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) series of Warfighter Exercises.
The Exercise Plans Contractor will understand, integrate, coordinate and represent the Air Component during the year-long planning/execution cycles for 5+ major multi-echelon (JTF, Corps, Division level) joint complex worldwide events each year.
The Exercise Plans Contractor will: coordinate processes, products, programs and people in support of ongoing MCTP events; integrate functional specialties represented in the AOC, JACCE, JAGIC, TACP; write and integrate Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) story lines; and coordinate joint air ground integration networks on web-based knowledge management tools.
The Exercise Plans Contractor will be an Airpower Integration subject matter expert (SME) and facilitate high fidelity air ground integration supporting ongoing Joint Training Transformation Initiatives, Joint National Training Capabilities, Army MCTP exercises and events. The Exercise Plans expert will fully understand exercise planning functions, speak to the systems used in the TACS/AAGS and have thorough knowledge of and application for the technical architectures required to make training scenarios and systems work in the MCTP training environment. As Air Component Planner(s) supporting AFI 10-251 tasks, the Exercise Plans Contractor will work with senior Army and Air Force leaders, exercise directors, exercise planners from all echelons, exercise controllers and Soldiers and Airmen from the assigned training audience to coordinate for and provide effective air plans, execution and control for all counter-land operations.
Will be proficient with the AOC TBMCS and exercise planning tools currently being used in the operational environment.
Will be required to attend conferences to represent Det 1 and Air Component/AOC replication and to coordinate on exercise construct issues with joint MCTP exercise planners.
May be positioned forward with the training audience during event execution to liaise with and represent the AOC, JACCE, ASOC/JAGIC and TACP and to work closely with the Det 1 EXCON Chief as well as the Chief of Air Power (CAP).
The Exercise Plans Contractor will receive daily guidance from the acting CAP and CFACC and be able to articulate command intent. This guidance will then be distributed to the MCTP air ground integration team as well as the AOC response cell to facilitate full Air Component integration. Interaction with General Officers on a regular basis will be required.
Qualifications
3 years AOC, or ASOG, or ASOS experience as operations, planner, instructor, mentor while assigned to an AOC, ASOG, ASOS or 1 year as ASOG/ASOS Director of Operations or Commander.
3 years AOC, ASOC/JAGIC or TACP experience as operations or plans officer.
3 years AOC, ASOC/JAGIC or TACP experience with Air Force TBMCS and Army Mission Command Systems.
Participation in two or more AOC/ASOC/TACP Joint exercises as plans or operations officer or as ASOC/JAGIC/TACP representative
ASOG/ASOS-level experience required; AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience desired
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
