The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in municipal planning support, with expertise in comprehensive planning, zoning, public engagement, and implementation strategies that help communities in the lower Hudson Valley and NYC metro area achieve their long-term goals. Excellent writing, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to contribute to municipal planning initiatives. Responsibilities may include:
Preparing reports and analyses including comprehensive plans, land use studies, and neighborhood/downtown revitalization strategies.
Leading and facilitating public meetings, workshops, and engagement events to gather meaningful community input.
Drafting and updating zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other land use tools.
Preparing and administering grant applications to support municipal projects and programs.
Managing projects, including scheduling, budgets, deliverables, and municipal client communications.
Building and maintaining municipal client relationships, including preparation of proposals and presentations to boards and councils.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year

Requirements
Masters in Planning, public administration, or a related field and 5-10 years of experience. Candidates with a bachelor's degree will also be considered
AICP preferred or on track to achieve certification
Broad understanding of the principles and practices of municipal planning, zoning, and public engagement.
Experience with NYS funding programs; experience writing and administering grants a plus.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to present to elected officials, boards, and the public.

Duties:
Projects will include solid-waste related site development projects: develop master plans, design drawings, design of stormwater management and erosion control systems, technical specifications, and cost estimates
Prepare various types of related reports and studies to secure permitting for projects
Draft work for scoping/conceptual work/engineering packages
Assist with oversight and guidance of projects from initial concept through construction

Your Key Responsibilities

Task duties include:
* Providing quality control and maintaining a high standard for safety on biological field reports, biological reports and memos and other desktop reviews produced by junior biological staff and subcontractors.

Your Key Responsibilities
Managing and delivering Commissioning Services for valued clients and their projects throughout Texas, Southwest and Gulf Regions.
Develop Cx plans and specifications.
Attend Cx pre-proposal meetings, Cx kick-off meetings and additional meetings as required for designated Cx projects.
Execute and manage commissioning assignments encompassing both in office and on-site activities and requirements.
Monitor Cx activities on an ongoing basis to ensure timely and efficient completion of Cx work and ensure compliance of project contract Cx requirements.

We are in search of a capable candidate to play a key role in a broad spectrum of projects, encompassing everything from large utility infrastructure projects and athletic fields to land development work and higher education facilities. Duties
Plan and design large scale infrastructure, land development and athletic field projects.
Oversee and guide projects from initial concept through construction closeout.
Mentor and lead project team and direct reports
Perform and review detailed hydraulic calculations.
Produce effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications)
Provide bidding and construction administration services.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
Communicate directly with and maintain client relationships.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
5+- years' experience
Registered as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain license within 1-yr
Track record of developing good working relationships with municipal, industrial, and/or institutional clients
Effective communication skills using oral, graphic and written forms
Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to travel to project sites and work remotely as needed
Ability to manage workload and budgets as allocated
Familiarity with AutoDesk products and hydraulic/process modeling software is preferred

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager focusing on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. Within this team, you will have the opportunity to work on Data Center projects of various sizes across the country. The Mission Critical space requires a very proactive, responsive, and efficient design team with projects serving Fortune 10 companies who are making headlines with transformational projects. The candidate will work directly with clients to successfully implement and manage project design and construction administration. The candidate will be responsible for Project Management, development of project team members, and for supporting and managing civil site design services of private data center projects. This position will coordinate, and lead project teams focused on engineering and construction related services.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Work with multidisciplinary teams to undertake site development projects related to their planning, design and engineering. Client types include private developers, general contractors, and architects.

* Ability to review, markup, and coordinate the delivery of documentation in various project phases including site plans, utility plans, grading plans, stormwater systems as well as other components of the project.
* Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
* Thorough understanding of the land development process and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.
* Assist the design team in the creation of sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
* Assist with proposal development, interviews, and presentations.
* Market and support client growth throughout North America.
* Utilizes technologies in development of three-dimensional models of civil systems and provides markups for junior engineers/designers.
* Develops and manages the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
* Conducts quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers.
* Assists in the development of new standards and processes for the team.

Pay Range:
* Locations in MN, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 88,300.00 - Max Salary $ 128,000.00
* Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 97,100.00 - Max Salary $ 140,800.00
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

For both public and private sector clients, we provide unique high-performance oversights on commissioning programs from small scale commercial fit-out projects to billion-dollar state of the projects. Stantec has an opportunity for a Commissioning Associate to join our established Commissioning Team under our Buildings Engineering Practice. While the opportunity is based out of a major office, the position may require travel for short periods to project locations throughout the USA. Remote work strategies may be considered based on project requirements and direct supervisor approval. Aside from the preferred locations listed, this position is open to any location with a Stantec office presence, for the right candidate.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Managing and delivering Commissioning Services for valued clients and their projects throughout Texas, Southwest and Gulf Regions.
- Develop Cx plans and specifications.
- Attend Cx pre-proposal meetings, Cx kick-off meetings and additional meetings as required for designated Cx projects.
- Execute and manage commissioning assignments encompassing both in office and on-site activities and requirements.
- Monitor Cx activities on an ongoing basis to ensure timely and efficient completion of Cx work and ensure compliance of project contract Cx requirements.
- Develop and / or maintain documentation of Cx projects and milestone events in completion of Cx projects to provide timely and uniform periodic management information reports. Review project schedules for commissioning events and provide feedback for Cx budget reports.
- Receive and review project as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranty manuals and commissioning reports.
- Analyze contracts, review plans, drawings, specifications, and submittals and verify commissioning schedules as required. Identify deficiencies and out-of-scope work requirements and initiate appropriate measures with assigned project manager to facilitate project completion.
- Maintain schedules, ensuring proper resources are allocated to each commissioning task.
- Audit all sites during commissioning to ensure desired scope, quality, and schedules are met.
- Support and participate in coordination and implementation of commissioning and performance testing processes and methodologies, and detailed capture and effective recording of these project details and findings.
- Reviews of design drawings and specifications and reporting to Clients with regard to whether proposed design satisfies the Owner's project requirements.
- Support Commissioning team in active field reviews, testing, issue capture and issues resolution of mechanical, electrical and automation related technical services within facilities.
- Prepare and develop detailed and concise reports and support documentation.
- Witness and document air and water balancing procedures and balancing results.
- Witness and document automation controls verifications and sensor calibrations.
- Assists in generating Functional Performance test scripts based upon project specific sequences of operation for mechanical, electrical and life safety systems.
- Assists in facilitating, witnesses and documenting functional performance testing of mechanical, electrical and life safety systems.
- Work collaboratively to support the Texas, Southwest and Gulf Regions Commissioning Team and wider North American Commissioning Team to develop and implement programs and procedures affecting Commissioning.

- 10-15 years of hands-on systems commissioning experience with desire to test for National Certification in Commissioning within a year's time if qualified.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC and building systems to evaluate and test the performance of these systems.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to independently read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

- Support for obtaining building sustainability certifications such as CxA, CCP, BEMP, WELL, LEED, Energy Star, CEM, etc.
- Scopes of work to include a variety of building components including mechanical, plumbing, electrical distribution, lighting and specialty systems including fire alarm, security, and other enhanced building technology/control systems including nurse call, renewable energy systems, etc.
