We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Dump Truck Driver (Class A) to join our construction operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and construction debris across various sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols will ensure efficient project progression and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction site logistics and operate a range of heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and water trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Class A dump trucks with a manual transmission to deliver materials accurately and efficiently across construction sites
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness
Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to facilitate smooth material flow
Maintain detailed records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
Load, secure and haul an equipment trailer.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or similar environments
3-4 years of CDL driving expereince
Experience driving manual transmission trucks

**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and isometric drawings to determine pipe routing and dimensions.
+ Perform accurate pipe take-offs and material calculations for copper and carbon steel piping systems.
+ Cut, thread, groove, and bevel pipe ends using pipe cutters, threading machines, and grinders.
+ Fabricate pipe spools and assemblies ensuring proper center-to-center measurements and offset calculations.
+ Install piping systems according to relevant standards, ensuring correct pitch, alignment, and support spacing.
+ Fit and align pipe sections using pipe clamps, chain vices, and alignment tools.
+ Secure joints using brazing, soldering (for copper), and welding preparation (for carbon steel).
+ Install flanges, gaskets, valves, and hangers ensuring proper torque and sealing integrity.

Schedule and Hours
Days worked as needed, typically from 6:45am until work finished, with overtime as needed.
