**Job Title: Carpenter Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Foreman to oversee commercial construction projects, particularly in schools and multifamily new builds. This role involves hands-on management of carpenters and subcontractors, providing layout assistance, scheduling, and leading a team of 5-10 people. The Carpenter Foreman will conduct tool box talks and must be skilled in Bluebeam and blueprint reading.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage and oversee carpenters and subcontractors on commercial construction projects.
+ Assist with layout and scheduling for construction projects.
+ Lead a team of 5-10 individuals on construction sites.
+ Conduct tool box talks to ensure team safety and project efficiency.
+ Ensure proficiency in Bluebeam and blueprint reading.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in construction, carpentry, and framing.
+ Proficiency in finish carpentry and commercial construction.
+ Ability to function as an assistant superintendent when needed.
+ Competence in layout tasks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Capability to operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
+ Certification from CITC or a union apprenticeship is preferred but not required.
+ OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required.

+ Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Esprit, Mastercam, and SolidWorks
+ Create efficient toolpaths for intricate geometries and tight tolerances
+ Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and QC to refine processes and resolve challenges
+ Select tooling, manage tool libraries, and document setups and revisions
+ Support machinists with program interpretation, setup, and troubleshooting
+ Drive continuous improvement in cycle times, tool life, and part quality
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience programming and setting up 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines
+ Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Esprit, Mastercam, SolidWorks)
