+ Work with team to establish safe movement of traffic around work zones

+ Interpret and work from complex technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models to determine optimal machining strategies.

**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and programming DMG Mori 5-axis CNC machines (e.g., DMU, DMC, or NT series).
+ Strong proficiency in G-code, M-code, and machine-specific controls (CELOS or Siemens/Fanuc for DMG Mori).
+ Expertise in interpreting GD&T and complex technical documentation.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will apply your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments and parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
+ Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments like micrometers or vernier calipers.
+ Machine parts to specifications using tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
+ Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
+ Measure, examine, or test completed units for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
+ Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
+ Maintain machine tools in operational condition.
+ Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations.
