**What You'll Do as a General Laborer:**

We are currently hiring a Fabrication Lead for 2nd
Shift. The Fabrication Lead oversees daily shop-floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, staffing, and production goals are met. This role leads personnel, coordinates scheduling, monitors performance metrics, and maintains compliance with company standards and procedures. The Fabrication Lead also supports equipment upkeep, conducts walkthroughs, and assists with inspections, purchasing, and documentation to keep fabrication processes running efficiently.
Responsibilities
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce PPE use
Lead daily production activities, floor coverage, inspections, and shipment readiness
Monitor performance, attendance, and scheduling; communicate updates to management
Support training on systems (Mendix, BCPS) and onboarding of new employees
Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure 5S standards are upheld
Track KPIs and provide daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting
Manage consumables inventory and assist with audits and quality reporting
Participate in scheduling meetings and address project issues
Requirements
High school diploma
Willing to submit to drug and background screening
3+ years technical experience with ability to lead a team
Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and basic inventory processes
Forklift experience (license required post-hire)
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
