    Flexible shift - M-Th 10 hr shifts starting at 2:20pm-12:50am with some overtime on Fridays - typically 10am start at 5pm, but flexible Not 2 days will look the same in terms of job will train under a month on 1st shift M-Th w/ optional overtime on Friday 5am/6am -3:30pm or 4:30pm Everyone is working overtime and will be that we for the foreseeable future Welding experience would be a plus Mostly conversational programming CNC Lathe with some mill preferred but doing a lot of tool maker 1. Able to read blue prints. 2. Able to measure and teach tools. 3. Able to machine close tolerances and fits. 4. Able to adjust cutters to obtain needed tolerances and the affects it has on the programs that follow and cutters that follow. 5. Able to modify programs and understanding how adjusting affects other programs that follow. 6. Able to set-up and indicate parts accurately before machining. 7. Able to write programs at machine from drawing. 8. Modify programs by selecting optimal machining conditions: feed, speed, depth of cut, and axis movements and positioning 9. Able to use micrometers and calipers to measure within .005mm or 0.0002". 10. Able to multi-task, get next job ready before the existing job is finished to shorten set-up time. 11. Able to run multiple machines during long program runs. **Skills** Lathe, Cnc lathe, Machining, g&m codes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** - Competency and awareness of basic machining concepts and how parts interact. - Common computer knowledge to pull programs from server to CNC lathe. - Experience with common CNC controls - Ability to read, write, and edit G&M code - Ability to read micrometers and use other measuring tools - Ability to understand and interpret complicated blueprints - 2 + years of relevant experience with programming and CNC lathe machine **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Apex, NC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $56160.00/yr.
