Duties/Responsibilities: Provide molecular analysis support for Regulatory Sciences and Registration (DNA extraction, sample weighing, control generation, master mix preparation, PCR plate set up) Provide technical support to investigate, develop and/or adapt methods, as needed, to address: Molecular technology issues within the laboratory New data requirements Document experimental protocol, methods and results and prepare data in accordance with government regulatory requirements. The position of Lab Assistant within the Industrial technology Department is responsible for providing academic support to both the Program Coordinator and instructors in respect to activities and assessments held within that program's lab settings.
