Responsibilities
Perform vascular diagnostic procedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions.
Evaluate patient for presence of peripheral vascular disease by selecting most effective procedures within regulatory and compliance guidelines.
Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, record patient test results and report results.
Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; report deficiencies and failures.
Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
Cath, IR, or EP experience preferred.

Arrange specimens and samples on trays to be placed in incubators and refrigerators
Deliver supplies and laboratory specimens to designated work areas
Maintain inventory reports and logs
Prepare and maintain bacteriological media and chemical solutions, utilizing proper labeling, handling, storage, use, and disposal of solutions, including autoclaved and hazardous waste
Use a grinder or other equipment to homogenize, extract or otherwise prepare samples for analytical testing
Weigh samples and record values on logs
Assisting with managing priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved with encouraged participation in the Food Safety Net Services Team
Responsible for the safety of oneself and others working within their area
Responsible for the completion of required training

Reporting to the Director of Specialty Products, the Technician will play a key role in product development, polymer film extrusion, compounding, formulation, testing, data analysis, project execution, and report generation.
What You'll Be Doing:
Polymer Processing:
Operate and develop polyolefin film and sheet extrusion processes.
Perform co-extrusion of dissimilar resins using techniques such as cast, blown, extrusion coating, and lamination.
Conduct polymer compounding using equipment like single- and twin-screw extruders, Banbury mixers, Brabenders, and kneaders.
Polymer Formulation & Testing:
Formulate polymers with various additives.
Perform polymer testing, including adhesion, clarity measurement, gel content, color analysis, heat seal integrity, and physical properties.
Project Execution & Analysis:
Develop processes and optimize production techniques.
Analyze data and generate detailed reports on findings.
What You Need To Succeed:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, or Polymer Engineering is preferred.
5-10 years of relevant experience in polymer extrusion and compounding preferred.
Associate degree with more than 10 years' experience in relevant film industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in polyolefin film and sheet co-extrusion using dissimilar resins.
Expertise in extrusion techniques such as cast, blown, extrusion coating, and lamination.
Familiarity with polymer compounding using single- and twin-screw extruders and other related equipment.
Hands-on experience with polymer testing and analysis methods.
Other Skills:
Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Familiarity with equipment startup, purging, and shutdown procedures.
