The Seasonal Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples.
These are seasonal positions and are estimated to last for 3-6 months.
Hiring will take place on a rolling basis until all openings are filled.
There are openings for Day Shift (generally 8 am - 6 pm) or Night Shift (generally 6 pm - 8 am). Actual shift times will vary depending on business need.
Hourly Range $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr. This range is estimated for a Seasonal Lab Technician in Wilson, North Carolina. Actual hourly rate may differ based upon location.
What you will do:
Prepare and analyze samples for a wide variety of testing procedures.
Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned.
Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.

What you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of analytical method, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety.
Willingness and ability to work Day Shift (generally 8 am - 6 pm). Actual shift time will vary depending on business need.
