The Incubation Technician is responsible for setting eggs according to customer or management specifications, monitoring incubation processes, and ensuring quality control in a cleanroom environment. This role involves recording essential data, preparing incubation tags, and maintaining biosecurity standards.
Responsibilities
+ Set eggs according to customer or management specifications.
+ Record appropriate information on the order sheet, such as date, flock number, and quantity.
+ Prepare incubation tags for orders.
+ Monitor temperature and humidity levels of each machine.
+ Candle eggs and pack incubated egg orders according to customer specifications.
+ Select appropriate eggs for breeder stock.
+ Set eggs for flock replacement and bird sales as required.
+ Complete and distribute all required incubation paperwork.
+ Input all incubation data into the appropriate spreadsheets.
+ Clean incubators and associated equipment with appropriate solutions.
+ Perform weekly fumigation to maintain biosecurity.
+ Conduct environmental sampling of incubators and complete associated paperwork.
+ Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment
The role requires frequent lifting and moving of flats of eggs weighing up to 30 pounds and cases of eggs weighing up to 60 pounds. The technician must be able to position themselves to access and inspect eggs and assess their condition within the incubation area. Regular operation of a computer and other office machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, and printers, is necessary. The technician must be able to accurately exchange information through various technologies and media.

* Create necessary work orders for repairs and maintenance of equipment.
* Schedule labs on computer base program and set up and break down labs for each component.

Join a leading company specializing in developing patient-specific, expanded multicellular therapies for treating severe, chronic cardiovascular diseases.
Responsibilities
+ Operate in a manufacturing clean room following established SOPs and GMP standards.
+ Perform mammalian cell culture tasks.
+ Handle Electronic Batch Records and log sheets according to cGMPs and SOPs.
+ Make cell-culture decisions based on cell observations and written guidelines.
+ Assist in revising and creating all SOPs.
+ Support deviations and investigations as necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with GMP, cell culture, and manufacturing processes.
+ Knowledge of Biology, Microbiology, and cleanroom protocols.
+ Familiarity with SOPs and cGMPs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Biotechnology certificate with 1-2+ years of experience in a cGMP environment.
+ HS diploma/GED with 4-6+ years of cGMP experience.
+ Experience in small scale tissue culture processing is preferred.
+ Experience working in an FDA or ISO regulated environment.
Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom lab environment, under a hood for 8 hours daily to culture cells. Spend 6 hours on foot culturing cells and 2 hours on documentation. Collaborate with a team in a business casual setting. Initial training is Monday-Friday, transitioning to either Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday shifts, based on availability.
