We have two commercial products, Yescarta and Tecartus , along with a robust pipeline of various autologous and allogeneic clinical programs.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Manufacturing organization as a cGMP Cleaner and support the startup of The Organization's brand-new, state-of-the-art commercial Cell Therapy facility in Frederick, Maryland.
The cGMP Cleaner, internally known as a Lab Tech II, will provide 3rd-shift cGMP cleaning requirements and sterile and non-sterile garment stocking for our ISO Class rooms and Controlled Non-Classified Lab Areas.
Responsibilities
Perform sanitary cleaning activities as defined by established operating procedures and as directed by Manager/Supervisor.
Perform sterile and non-sterile stocking, staging, and shifting (FIFO) of usable garments for multiple gowning rooms.
Maintain accurate and complete records.
Attend and complete all training required by Company SOPs, procedures, and policies.
Maintain accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring supplies are never depleted.
Review and provide signatory signoff of documentation.
Provide accurate and complete assistance to other departments as needed.
Work in a safe and effective manner in accordance with all company, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Basic Requirements
AA Degree OR High School Degree with 1+ Years of Operations and/or Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology and/or Manufacturing Experience.
Physical Environment and Physical Requirements
Physically capable to don and wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves (PPE are essential for the health and safety of employees).
Ability to wear a respirator during use of certain cleaning chemicals.
Perform operations within an ISO Class clean room.
Employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to squat, bend, kneel, and/or reach for 80% of a shift.
Must be able to stand, walk, and/or move about for 80% of a shift.
Preferred Qualifications
Clean Room sanitization experience or cGMP operational experience a plus.

Overviews
Under direct supervision, assists medical laboratory scientists by performing routine laboratory support duties and approved testing in any one of various specialized laboratories throughout UMMS, following departmental procedures and regulations stipulated by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act.
Key Responsibilities
Receives and accessions patient samples into the Laboratory Information System. Ensures that all codes and information are entered accurately and timely. Maintains accurate patient identification and information for billing purposes following departmental procedures.
Processes (centrifuges, aliquots, and performs other special handling procedures for specimens) and delivers specimens to specific laboratories as required. Saves or preserves specimens as needed in refrigerator, freezer, incubator, dry ice, or other storage as appropriate.
Identifies and resolves specimen integrity issues such as mislabeled specimens, quantity not sufficient (QNS), specimen integrity, incorrect container type, incorrect/incomplete requisitions, etc., and documents all information for quality assurance purposes.
Processes add-on testing according to departmental procedures.
May perform waived to moderate complexity testing.
Answers telephones and responds to customer inquiries and requests.
May perform waived to moderate complexity as approved by the supervisor in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Resolves customer complaints/issues and follows through with appropriate documentation.
Communicates test results, test descriptions, etc. Assures a high level of customer satisfaction by communicating and responding to a variety of internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Troubleshoots and solves instrument problems with some assistance from medical laboratory scientists.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Additional credit hours in biology and/or chemistry at an accredited institution are preferred.

Execute regularly scheduled cleaning duties as assigned (sweeping, mopping, cleaning darkroom sinks/trays, wiping down computer monitors, dumping out trash from film loading closets, etc.)
Supervise and train student employees
Assist in the lighting studio, set up and breakdown of equipment, printer, scanner, projector troubleshooting, digital workflows
Handle and record payments for prints and late fines through MICA flex and ledger
Maintain health and safety for all students, staff, and faculty in the facility, report any areas of concerns to the Photography Department Manager
Assist student gallery committee in art handling, installation and deinstallation

Integrates and correlates test data with other laboratory and patient data to evaluate validity
Ensures detected testing errors are resolved and specimens are retested before results are reported.

Ensures sound infection control practices are followed and that the correct personal protective equipment is used for tasks performed.

The Laboratory Assistant will be a vital member of the treatment team. They will support the LVTs and Doctors by facilitating the processing of in-house diagnostic testing, preparing samples, coordinating sample transportation, and the communication of results. They are pivotal in ensuring pet health in our practice.

Reporting and Supervision:
This position reports to the Patient Care Manager
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and process lab samples to be sent out.
Process in-house lab samples and enter results into computer database.
Utilize laboratory equipment to make microscope slides.
Oversee lab records and practice management software to ensure all clients are called with lab results.
Update medical records through the Electronic Medical Record (Cornerstone)
Review and call back nurse line messages from clients.
Maintain cleanliness of workspace and equipment. Ensure hospital protocols are followed to maintain high standards of care.
Assisting with duties in pharmacy and treatment as requested by your supervisor.

Animal Hospital, any position: 6 months (Required)

As a Lip Lab Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, team development, and operational efficiency. You'll balance a variety of responsibilities, including:
Guest Experience:
Providing top-notch customer service, including welcoming guests, confirming reservations, hosting parties, and addressing concerns.
Managing the appointment booking process, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

What We Are Looking For:
