* We are seeking a dedicated Lab Associate to join our support services team. In this role, you will be responsible for aliquotting, maintaining lab supplies, inventory management, and building specimen batches for processing. You will support lab testing up to the point where specimens are passed off to the technicians, focusing on pre-analytical steps with a significant amount of pipetting. You will mainly be supporting the patient service side, assisting in checking in patients and documentation for patients. Responsibilities * Receive, stage, and aliquot specimens for testing. * Work within a high-volume laboratory as part of a dedicated team to ensure patient results are reported within an acceptable turn-around-time. * Maintain, calibrate, and clean instrumentation. * Perform required quality control and quality assurance duties, including error detection and maintaining records/logs. * Various processes such as specimen collection, data entry, and processing.
