Personal protective equipment is made available and must be worn. Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in a science related field. Must have completed an accredited program of study for Medical Technologist. Must be able to successfully pass ASCP Certification Test within 6 months of hire or equivalent certification, failure to pass will result in termination of employment. Required Skills Must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle aged and geriatric) limitations and planned procedures. Skill in operation of laboratory equipment. High degree of accuracy. Required Licenses Must be certified as a medical technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
