Responsibilities * Collect, label, and track samples from various plant processes and incoming materials. * Prepare and distribute samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring chain-of-custody integrity. * Perform or coordinate laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. * Interpret and document test results, identifying trends or deviations from specifications. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions. * Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for outgoing products. * Ensure all quality documentation meets regulatory and customer requirements. * Develop, review, and update SOPs for sample collection, testing, and quality control processes. * Train plant and lab personnel on SOPs and quality best practices. * Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action processes. * Serve as a liaison between the plant, lab, and quality management teams. * Communicate quality issues and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders. * Promote and adhere to safe practices and sustainable operations in line with environmental and safety standards. Essential Skills * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred. * 5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing environment. * 5+ years of quality control, quality assurance, GMP leadership experience. * Familiarity with laboratory testing methods, quality management systems, and regulatory standards (ISO, etc.). * Lab experience related to ICP and Cytiva AKTA Chromatography. * Experience managing quality employees. * Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Handling of bodily fluids including blood, urine, feces, etc. *Data entry including organizing of patient requisitions, accessioning samples into the laboratory information system and double-checking work for accuracy. *Basic computer knowledge and some data entry experience is a requirement. *Understand technical and non-technical procedures required to process and forward accessioned specimens to the designated laboratory location for testing. *Maintain processing refrigerator and freezer temperature logs. *Maintain processing centrifuges and logs. *Responsible for checking-in all Couriers and receiving samples. *Assist Phlebotomists with labeling of samples if needed. *Must be able to adjust to increased workloads. *Must be able to periodically lift or move biohazard waste bins which could weigh more than 20 lbs. *Able to locate and pull specimens from refrigerated storage as needed or requested. * Learns and keeps familiar with lab procedures and policies. *Other duties as assigned.
