What Will You Do in This Role
Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices
Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.
What You Will Need for This Role
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing.
Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required to support a 24/7 schedule.

Role:
This position is responsible for working with the Laboratory and Medical Directors to ensure the quality of laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures and CAP/COLA/CLIA standards. Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight of the technical, operational, and managerial leadership for the high complexity CLIA laboratory.

Job Summary:
The Technologist accurately performs complex techniques involving the molecular analysis of human biological specimens in conformance with state and federal regulatory guidelines.

Tuesday - Saturday, (3:00p - 11:30p)
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs and demonstrates competency in molecular diagnostic techniques.
Analyze and review results, accurately enter and release clinical results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Evaluate data to determine interference, contamination, inhibition, or other problems that may arise during extraction and amplification of nucleic acids.
Follows aseptic techniques and cleaning procedures for the prevention of contamination.
Responsible for the preventive maintenance and function checks procedures of equipment, as well performing corrective action when necessary.
Ensures patient specimen stability, proper sample processing and takes appropriate corrective action when errors are detected, or rejections/recollections are required.
Performs all quality control procedures to ensure validity and analytic performance of test results and troubleshoots according to laboratory protocols.
Exhibits efficient use of time and resources, meeting expectations for turnaround time (TAT).
Treats all proficiency testing samples according to regulatory agencies' guidelines and laboratory expectations.
Trains department personnel.
Performs equipment and assay verifications, validation and equivalencies according to the approved plans.
Maintains proficiency and competency.
Participates in regulatory agencies' readiness and onsite inspections.
Communicates effectively and timely as needed to coworkers, department leadership and other divisions.
