We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Manufacturing organization as a cGMP Cleaner and support the startup of The Organization's brand-new, state-of-the-art commercial Cell Therapy facility in Frederick, Maryland.
The cGMP Cleaner, internally known as a Lab Tech II, will provide 3rd-shift cGMP cleaning requirements and sterile and non-sterile garment stocking for our ISO Class rooms and Controlled Non-Classified Lab Areas.
Responsibilities
Perform sanitary cleaning activities as defined by established operating procedures and as directed by Manager/Supervisor.
Perform sterile and non-sterile stocking, staging, and shifting (FIFO) of usable garments for multiple gowning rooms.
Maintain accurate and complete records.
Attend and complete all training required by Company SOPs, procedures, and policies.
Maintain accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring supplies are never depleted.
Review and provide signatory signoff of documentation.
Provide accurate and complete assistance to other departments as needed.
Work in a safe and effective manner in accordance with all company, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Basic Requirements
AA Degree OR High School Degree with 1+ Years of Operations and/or Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology and/or Manufacturing Experience.
Physical Environment and Physical Requirements
Physically capable to don and wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves (PPE are essential for the health and safety of employees).
Ability to wear a respirator during use of certain cleaning chemicals.
Perform operations within an ISO Class clean room.
Employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Job Summary:
Basic knowledge of lab set up in order to pull and properly handle samples for chemical, microbiological, retains and shelf life analysis of all dairy and non-dairy products. This position is required to be knowledgeable in basic lab quality control skills and be able to identify quality issues on the lines and report to proper personnel. This is an entry-level position into the lab to train individuals on testing protocols and importance of accurate data collection as it pertains to quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Primary responsibility is to pull all required samples in the established time periods allowing laboratory to be able to identify product issues as they are running on the line.
· Verifies that product meets the required specifications on the line, such as codes, packaging, absence of leakers, etc. and that operator, coordinators and laboratory resources as well as senior techs are aware of any deviations when they are noted. Understands the importance of this notification process and how it affects profitability of the plant when out-of-spec product is ran.
· Run and interpret the results on the following tests: vacuum checks; temperature; appearance; weights; code date verifications; packaging checks; seal check verification; pH or T.A.; coffee testing; shelf life verification; pulling retains for customer complaints; flavor; odor; peroxide checks on Evergreen packaging; Oxonia tests on Serac for POAA levels; spin tests; pre-setting the carts in incubators for microbiological testing; calibrations and standards; etc. Other testing may be required as well.
· Responsible for the daily cleanup and review of racking systems in the incubators and coolers. Also must set up racks before the lines start.
· Must maintain lab in a clean and organized fashion which includes removal of trash, consolidating and organizing supplies, wiping down counters, equipment and walls, sweeping, mopping, etc. prior to end of shift.
· Involvement in team-oriented processes in order to ascertain improvements within the lab and plant.
Education and Experience:

Operates complex analyzers and microscopes, centrifuges, incubators, spectrophotometers, and similar laboratory instruments. Calibrates, standardizes, troubleshoots, and maintains the equipment in accordance with manual specifications and standard procedures. Monitors proper application of automated methodologies as performed by the computerized analytical instruments.
Isolate and identify all fungi, mycobacterium, or related microorganisms from patient specimens, environmental sources, and proficiency surveys.
Inputs data and results in hospital-wide computer system making corrections as required for proper diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
Integrates and correlates test data with other laboratory and patient data to evaluate validity
Ensures detected testing errors are resolved and specimens are retested before results are reported.
Maintains appropriate quality control data specific for individual tests performed.

Operates complex analyzers and microscopes, centrifuges, incubators, spectrophotometers, and similar laboratory instruments. Calibrates, standardizes, troubleshoots, and maintains the equipment in accordance with manual specifications and standard procedures. Monitors proper application of automated methodologies as performed by the computerized analytical instruments.
Isolate and identify all fungi, mycobacterium, or related microorganisms from patient specimens, environmental sources, and proficiency surveys.
Inputs data and results in hospital-wide computer system making corrections as required for proper diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
Integrates and correlates test data with other laboratory and patient data to evaluate validity
Ensures detected testing errors are resolved and specimens are retested before results are reported.
Maintains appropriate quality control data specific for individual tests performed.
Reports critical or STAT test values by telephone to the provider and documents "read back".
Ensures sound infection control practices are followed and that the correct personal protective equipment is used for tasks performed.
Complies with safety standards and practices and alerts supervisor of any potential safety hazards.
Must participate in the College of American Pathologist (CAP) Proficiency Testing and clinic certification.
May be required to work other than normal duty hours including weekends and perform light general cleaning of work areas.

Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Graduation from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).

The Role:
As a Lip Lab Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, team development, and operational efficiency. You'll balance a variety of responsibilities, including:
Guest Experience:
Providing top-notch customer service, including welcoming guests, confirming reservations, hosting parties, and addressing concerns.
Managing the appointment booking process, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Creating a positive and energetic atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Team Leadership:
Leading and motivating a team of Color Experts to deliver exceptional service.
Providing effective onboarding and ongoing training to ensure team members are well-equipped.
Coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential.
Monitoring team performance and implementing strategies to improve results.
Operations:
Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Managing store supplies and inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For:
1+ years of experience demonstrating strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
2+ years' experience in retail, hospitality, or a related field
Passion for customer service and a positive attitude
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in POS systems, including Shopify or similar platforms, as well as in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
