Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Efficiently and accurately retrieve laboratory medical records using EMR systems, external lab portals (e.g., LabCorp, Quest), and fax communications.
· Uphold strict confidentiality and patient privacy in accordance with corporate policies and HIPAA regulations.
· Collaborate with Lab Nurses and internal staff to request and obtain documentation related to lab records.
· Download, attach, and file medical documents in appropriate systems.
· Enter laboratory results into EMR systems.
· Review all incoming laboratory correspondence, ensuring timely routing to the correct department or individual.
· Prepare and send detailed outgoing correspondence.
· Fax and mail laboratory documents in support of clinical and operational workflows.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date files of all correspondence.
· Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions.
· Ensure operational efficiency and timeliness in all tasks.
· Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all data and Protected Health Information (PHI).

Join our Cardiovascular Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. How you'll contribute
* Our Cath Lab Technician provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
* Perform technical and supportive patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
* Assist cardiologists with invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and intra-aortic balloon pump support.
* Monitor and interpret hemodynamics, ECGs, and waveform data while continually assessing and responding to changes in patient condition.
* Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab equipment; ensure safety standards, quality control, and infection control practices are followed.
* Review patient history, verify orders and identification, provide patient education, and document assessments and procedural details accurately.
* Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities, maintain readiness for call rotation, and support workflow efficiency within the cardiovascular services team.

* Current Arkansas radiation operator License, required
