Learns and practices sterile technique when it is required and assists physicians with procedures alongside their preceptor. * Transports or aids in transporting of patients to/from designated locations and preparing them for exams, scans or procedures. * Follows procedure for post processing of images under direction of their preceptor and assist the technologist in acquiring STAT readings when needed. * Learns how to process a patient through the hospital and radiology information system, and learns how to utilize the PACS system properly under direction of their preceptor, if applicable. * Keeps assigned work area clean and stocked, checks rooms and makes sure they are ready for the day, reports any low supply to preceptor and or Team Leaders.
