Under supervision of Laboratory Manager, performs waived laboratory tests in a remote or mobile setting. Also responsible for monitoring quality of reagents and working condition of instruments. Essential Functions: • Receives specimens from phlebotomists and couriers. • May operate a delivery van to bring the mobile lab to an area of high volume of STAT testing when applicable. • Enters patient demographics and test orders into lab information system. • Checks the quality control of each test prior to running and reporting patient results.
