About the role:
We are seeking a full time Laboratory Technician who will be responsible for various laboratory testing including Titrations, ICP analysis, and viscosity testing. This individual will be responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines while maintaining a satisfactory production level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
About you:
Ensure that all tasks are performed within time restraints and according to relevant quality and safety policies and procedures.
Use results from test method(s) in calculations to further characterize the data (i.e. Calculated Cetane Index, Viscosity Index, etc.).
Prepare and/or aliquot samples as part of a sample preparation step for all required tests. When applicable load samples on automated instrumentation that has been validated following method quality requirements.
Perform routine daily and/or weekly verification(s) and/or calibration(s) on equipment and instrumentation following method quality requirements. Some methods will require a minimum Level 3 or 4 based on complexity and quality risk level.
Perform analysis on samples through direct testing (i.e. wet chemistry). The minimum level required to perform some methods will vary depending on complexity of the method, safety risk level, and quality risk level.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and/or instrumentation as required by the method. The minimum level required to perform preventative maintenance on some equipment and/or instrumentation will vary depending on the complexity of the task, safety risk level and quality risk level.
Perform calculations as required when conducting analytical preparations.
Perform sample preparation for multiple testing requirements.
Perform housekeeping duties as required. This includes assisting with storage and disposal of client samples.
Monitor inventory levels for supplies and reagents required for test methods.
Prepare and maintain standards and reagents. Some standards will require a minimum Level 2 depending on the complexity and quality risk.
Generate, accumulate, handle, work near, transport, and dispose of hazardous wastes.
Collect, store, and label any hazardous waste generated in compliance with the ALS policy.
Contribute to sample receival process including opening packages, sorting mail and data entry.
Participate in shift hand overs to ensure smooth transition.
Identify continuous improvement activities for the site.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED is required..
Laboratory experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
The ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working.
Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers and managers.
Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware.
Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.
Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

Position Description:
• Maintains proficiency in and follows documented analytical procedures and program to provide QC testing in the Grain Inspection Laboratory.
• Follows all Laboratory and Company rules/guidelines, including Safety, GMP, and Personnel policies.
• Communicates any unusual problems or developments relative to product quality to the QC Lead Technician or Site Supervisor.
• Answer internal phone calls regarding product concerns.
• Meet deadlines.
• Perform duties related to the Grain Inspection Laboratory as required or directed by the Site Supervisor or Team Leader
• Identifies and reports problems with equipment or procedures to shift leaders, and assists in regular maintenance of equipment.
• Read and understand all procedures that pertain to testing being performed.
Job Requirements:
• Three positions available:
Saturday and Sunday 12:30pm to 11:00pm for the part time position for 20 hours each week
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday from 6:30am to 5:00pm for 40 hours each week
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30am to 7:00pm for 30 hours each week
Pay: $14.50 per hour
Qualifications
• Experience a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test
• Good organizational skills and math skills
• Computer literate

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Initiate pre-employment screening orders for new hire candidates
Provide screening results to hiring company presidents/managers
Work with Risk Management/Legal on adverse screening results
Track and maintain details of all screening orders daily (currently using smartsheet)
Follow up with company presidents/managers on outstanding screening orders
Review vendor generated daily and weekly reports
Account user maintenance within the vendor's system
Work closely with screening vendor on service levels, system issues, new accounts set up, user credentialing, and billing
Monthly invoicing to Local Companies
All other duties as assigned

We're currently seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our Cath Lab Department at our Galion location.
Position Overview
The Cath Lab Tech may assist in NCDR registry reporting, quality initiatives and other compliance requirements for cath labs with ODH. The Cath Lab Tech will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, perform emergency procedures associated with cardiovascular procedures such as Intra-Aortic Balloon pump/Impella and temporary pacemaker insertion. Follow established standards of practice under the direction of a credentialed invasive radiologist, cardiologist or cardiothoracic/vascular surgeon. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facilities mission.
Qualifications
Required:
BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure.
Preferred:
Minimum of an associate degree.
RCIS certification preferred.
Previous experience in Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab.
Previous experience with GE MAC Lab and Innova.
