Key Responsibilities:
Conduct critical biological, chemical, and physical testing on raw materials, in-process and final products, and environmental monitoring samples with minimal supervision.
Serve as a mentor to Quality Laboratory Associate (QLA) I staff, providing training, guidance, and work direction as needed.
Review test data for accuracy and compliance with documentation requirements; perform release functions in LIMS or other computerized systems.
Operate sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect, analyze, and document data.
Perform advanced biological and chemical assays requiring precise analytical techniques and strong understanding of scientific principles.
Complete all routine and special project/protocol testing in a timely and compliant manner.
Maintain data integrity and ensure adherence to SOPs, specifications, and regulatory requirements including FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP.
Investigate deviations and prepare exception documentation.
Participate in cross-functional teams to support production, improve efficiency, resolve issues, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Conduct laboratory and manufacturing audits; update plant SOPs as required.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibrations.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Conduct biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products and medical devices throughout all stages of manufacturing-from incoming raw materials to in-process and finished goods-as well as environmental monitoring samples.
Ensure all testing is performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or Biological Sciences with analytical chemistry or laboratory coursework and 2-5 years of relevant experience, OR
Master's degree in chemistry or Biological Sciences with 0-3 years of relevant experience.

What We're Seeking:
We seek a full-time 1st Shift Lab Assistant who supports the Lab Manager by performing waste treatment duties, maintaining data logs, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting in training. Responsibilities/Duties:
Capable of performing all duties of a waste treatment operator
Assist Lab Manager in supervisory duties such as hiring, overseeing training, performance evaluations, addressing employee concerns, and administering disciplinary action as needed
Maintains a state of Illinois Class K operator's license
Assists in maintaining and recording all data logged by the operators
Enforces safety requirements and ensures all new employees are properly trained
Assists in ensuring operators complete duties in their daily priority logs
Works with the lab manager and the Metal Finishing Manager to establish weekend operating schedules
Assists in preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information relative to all process chemistry
Tests chemicals and physical properties of materials used in processing tanks
Performs coating weight analysis of phosphated panels
Assists in monitoring chemical inventories and communicates any discrepancies to the Lab Manager
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis
Represents the lab during quality and environmental audits and assists with experimenting with new process chemistry
Analyze and summarize information related to all process chemistry
Ensures proper operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; communicating with Maintenance for repairs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Operate a forklift, following all required safety and operational procedures

Job Description
The Research Laboratory Technician - TCTL will:
Support the day-to-day activities of a team of biomedical researchers tasked with investigating the mechanisms of aging and neuromuscular regeneration through transplantation of adult stem cells and/or their secreted factors into murine models.
Work with scientists, therapists, and physicians to perform and document translational and basic science studies.
Keep inventory of supplies and placing orders.
Provide support for mouse colony maintenance and modification; including genotyping and phenotype characterization.
Contribute to new project plan development and experimental execution, builds and maintains laboratory protocols, and perform accurate result analysis.
Occasionally support administrative protocol creation/modification as needed with institutional review board (IRB), institutional animal care and use committee (IACUC), institutional biosafety committee (IBC), and research safety designates. Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and laboratory manager in supporting organization, budget planning, and meeting project milestones.

Responsibilities:
Collect, process, and prepare human cadaveric specimens for shipment.
Escort cadaveric specimen to scanning facilities including but not limited to (X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa)
frequently fast-paced environment while having a high level of attention to detail.
Help in loading dock with shipping/receiving
Help with deliveries/pickups from nearby facilities
Put together return supplies/PPEs/lab supplies
Help with warehouse maintenance/upkeep
Able to work under changing conditions and urgent needs
Assist with freezer organization and tissue storage/audits
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and internal standards of procedure.
Understand, enforce, and utilize safe lab practices and maintain a clean working environment and facility standards.
Availability for occasional additional hours or weekend laboratory special events.
Additional tasks to include assist other departments as needed, training provided
Requirements:
A curiosity & a general comfort in working with human cadaveric specimen
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

What We're Seeking:
We seek a full-time 1st Shift Lab Assistant who supports the Lab Manager by performing waste treatment duties, maintaining data logs, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting in training. They test materials, monitor chemical inventories, and ensure equipment operates correctly. Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and attention to detail are essential..
This 1st Shift full-time role must be able to work Monday-Friday!
Starting Pay Range: $56,000 to $75,000 Annually based on experience.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Capable of performing all duties of a waste treatment operator
Assist Lab Manager in supervisory duties such as hiring, overseeing training, performance evaluations, addressing employee concerns, and administering disciplinary action as needed
Maintains a state of Illinois Class K operator's license
Assists in maintaining and recording all data logged by the operators
Enforces safety requirements and ensures all new employees are properly trained
Assists in ensuring operators complete duties in their daily priority logs
Works with the lab manager and the Metal Finishing Manager to establish weekend operating schedules
Assists in preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information relative to all process chemistry
Tests chemicals and physical properties of materials used in processing tanks
Performs coating weight analysis of phosphated panels
Assists in monitoring chemical inventories and communicates any discrepancies to the Lab Manager
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis
Represents the lab during quality and environmental audits and assists with experimenting with new process chemistry
Analyze and summarize information related to all process chemistry
Ensures proper operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; communicating with Maintenance for repairs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Practice safe work habits, following outlined policies and procedures
Operate a forklift, following all required safety and operational procedures
Be aware of SWD Inc. Company's policy and procedures, including the quality system as defined by ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and ISO-17025 and outlined in SWD Inc.'s quality, environmental and laboratory systems policy, and procedure manuals.
Qualifications:
