You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. Key Responsibilities Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization's raw materials, in- process products, and finished products. Perform quantitative and qualitative chemical or biological analysis to verify process conditions and compile research data. Evaluate the physical characteristics of raw materials and products such as permeability, disintegration, and crystal growth viscosity. Record results, perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations. Follow instructions and checklists to set-up equipment and apparatus and mix chemical solutions for use in tests. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Summary Under general supervision, the Lab Coordinator provides administrative support to the Nursing Operations Manager and lab team. Responsible for managing lab medical records, including the retrieval, filing, and organization of documents related to lab operations. Ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and timely access to lab medical records to support clinical workflows. About the position: As the Laboratory Aide, you will assist with the general needs of the lab in preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists. Work is performed in accordance with standard laboratory practice under limited supervision. What you'll do: Assist in receiving and accessioning Assist in daily operation of IF, Light and EM Perform prep work for the following day Set up, clean and maintain laboratory and equipment Other duties as assigned including but not limited to slide filing Organize slides per case and per Pathologist using folders, trays etc. for delivery Deliver slides to Pathologists in an accurate and timely manner Assist in maintaining Inventory management Other duties as assigned You should have: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: No experience required Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Some MS Excel experience Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00p, onsite at the main office in Little Rock, Arkansas.
