Provides medication administration for residents.
Takes orders, documents orders, orders medications, receives medications, and administers medications.
Performs all procedures of good nursing care such as taking vital signs, giving enemas and suppositories, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have completed the Medication Technician/Aide coursework and validation in state of practice.
Must have at least 6 months experience as a Medication Technician.
Must be detail oriented and able to adhere to all policies and procedures.
Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be listed in good standing with the state of practice health care personnel registry and/or licensure verification board with no findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation.
Must be willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
Must be willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other care team staff, other departments, and families and visitors.
Must be kind and respectful to residents, staff, and visitors.
