About the Role Research Associate I will perform technical procedures, restrain animals, operate laboratory equipment, collect specimens, and data on laboratory animals (mice, rats, rabbits, canines, non-human primates, etc.) as specified in protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and in compliance with GLP standards. The Quality Control Technician's overall responsibility, and objective, is to ensure that all aspects of the SQF, Quality, and Food Safety programs are followed by all employees, vendors, and visitors. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed primarily indoors in an office setting, but employees may be outdoors and near operating equipment, loud noises, and loose particles. Work performed requires employees to operate in all different temperatures/weather, heights, and dusty areas. Long periods of sitting and standing may be required.
