Schedule: Full-time, weekdays 6:30a-5p with one variable weekday off per week. On-call required: 1 weekend per month (5p Friday-6:30a Monday) and 4 weeknights per month (5p-6:30a next day).
No weekend commitment outside of on-call.
Experience Required: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a cath/EP lab.
Must be able to scrub for all types of heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures.
Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred.
Certification/Education Required: Preferably RCIS or RCES licensure.
ARRT licensure acceptable with scrub experience in cath lab performing heart caths with intervention.
ACLS and BLS required.
Additional Skills/Information: Looking for a strong scrub tech with experience across all cath/EP procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Summary:
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Essential Work Functions:
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems, ensuring proper functionality
Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring adherence to infection control and procedural protocols
Perform sheath removal and hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices as directed
Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of sterile instruments and medications
Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring proper use of lead aprons, shields, and dosimeters
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Job Responsibilities:
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelors degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required OR an MLS degree
ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Technical Guidance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues in real time.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven track record coordinating emissions, durability, and performance programs for OEM or Tier-1 customers.
Technical Proficiency -

The Instructional Laboratory Assistant for the Electric Vehicle (EV), Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), and Auto Body Programs plays a critical role in supporting instruction and hands-on learning across multiple automotive technologies.This position works closely with faculty to facilitate classroom and laboratory instruction, provide technical and safety support, and maintain instructional equipment and facilities.The Instructional Laboratory Assistant also provides direct support services that contribute to student recruitment, retention, academic success, and professional development, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students pursuing careers in EV, ICE, and auto body fields.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Instructional Support: Collaborate with instructors to support the delivery of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on laboratory activities related to electric vehicles, internal combustion engine systems, and auto body repair and refinishing.
Technical Assistance: Provide technical guidance to students during lab sessions, including troubleshooting and diagnostics of EV systems, ICE components, drivetrains, electrical/electronic systems, and auto body structures, materials, and refinishing processes.
Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining, organizing, and preparing EV, ICE, and auto body tools, vehicles, equipment, and instructional resources to ensure safe, effective, and accessible learning environments.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures across EV, ICE, and auto body laboratories, including proper use of tools, high-voltage safety practices, hazardous materials handling, and shop equipment. Maintain familiarity with OSHA and MSDS requirements.
Student Support: Provide guidance to students in understanding course materials, completing assignments, and developing technical competencies required for careers in EV, ICE, and auto body industries.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records related to student attendance, progress, and performance in alignment with program and institutional requirements. Assist with reporting to support program assessment and effectiveness.
Curriculum & Lab Development: Collaborate with faculty to develop, update, and refine curriculum materials, laboratory exercises, and assessments that reflect current EV, ICE, and auto body technologies and industry standards.
Continuous Professional Learning: Stay current with emerging automotive technologies, including electric propulsion systems, advanced diagnostics, ADAS, collision repair innovations, and evolving industry best practices.
Lab Preparation & Breakdown: Prepare laboratories at the beginning of class sessions and ensure proper breakdown, cleanup, and secure storage of equipment at the conclusion of each session.
Part-Time Staff Support: Assist in training, scheduling, and task coordination of part-time laboratory assistants under the direction of the Department Chair.
Inventory Management: Support procurement and inventory tracking of classroom, laboratory, and maintenance supplies using scan tools and related inventory software.
Recruitment & Retention Initiatives: Assist with student recruitment efforts, including outreach to high schools and community events. Support promotional events, competitions, and demonstrations to strengthen enrollment and retention.
Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and college goals.
Hours / ScheduleThis is a full-time Classified Faculty position, working year-round and accountable for forty (40) hours per week. Work schedules may include days, evenings, and weekends based on instructional needs.

Day Shift-- Vehicle Emissions Lab. Chemist
The Chemist will perform liquid chromatograph analysis (carbonyl analysis from vehicle exhaust) and perform gas chromatograph analysis (hydrocarbon speciation, fuel dilution in engine oil, etc.). The Chemists responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting various fuel analysis (fuel composition, heating value, distillation points)
Managing fuel inventory and fuel ordering
Perform maintenance and calibration on various instruments (all kinds of instruments in emissions lab, not limited to chemical instruments)
Support testing operation and trouble shoot instrument problems
Develop new chemical analysis when there are new emissions testing needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in chemistry analysis with liquid chromatograph and gas chromatograph
General understanding of vehicle powertrain and exhaust after treatment
Experience with vehicle emissions testing and with conventional emission analyzers (HC, CO, CO2, NOx and CH4)
Team player with good communication skills
Dedicated and well organized
Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree in Chemistry

Job Title Chemical Technician / Driver Farmington Hills, MI Location
We are looking for a candidate with a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Existing hazardous materials CDL endorsement is preferred, but not required for hiring.
This position will include assisting project managers and field chemists with consolidation/packaging of hazardous wastes, industrial cleaning, spill response and clean-up, recycling activities, and transportation (driving) of hazardous and regulated wastes. This position is based out of our Southfield office with work primarily centered around southeastern Michigan, but will include occasional overnight travel throughout Michigan and the surrounding states. This is a field position, NOT a laboratory position.
Work Activities
Day-to-day work activities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Packaging, labeling, manifesting, and transport of universal wastes, liquid industrial by-products, medical wastes, and hazardous wastes.
Perform consolidation of hazardous materials/wastes (including bulk packaging and repackaging).
Properly complete regulatory documents for compliant transport and disposal of waste materials.
Assist in preparation of chemical inventories for proper waste handling and/or disposal.
Assist in the safe, compliant, and timely clean-up of chemical spills.
Assist in industrial cleaning projects.
Operate a commercial motor vehicle transporting hazardous materials and wastes for recycling and/or disposal.
Hours
This is a full time position. Anticipated full-time work hours will be Monday - Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. depending on project commitments. Additional overtime and weekend work may be needed from time to time to support specific project deadlines. This position is also required to have weekend on-call commitments two weekends per month.
Job Requirements

Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
Due to insurance requirements, the candidate must be at least 23 years of age and have a clean driving record.
Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examination and drug test.
Clean criminal/security history required to obtain TSA Threat Assessment clearance for CDL Hazardous Materials endorsement.
Must be able to frequently move/lift equipment and supplies weighing 50-100 pounds.
Basic computer experience to handle day-to-day project assignments, use of MS Office.
